Wonderful base to stay while in sapporo. Would come back again.

Pros:

Loved the service, first time stayed in a 5 star hotel and it did not disappoint. The staff all had great English and were very helpful. Would recommend to anyone

Pleasant and comfortable
Pros:

Modern, clean, comfortable, and polite staff. There were also complementary coffee and tea all day as well as some bakery and snacks in the morning, which was a lovely touch.

Cons:

Nearly nothing, just the mattress was a bit worn out and felt like it was sagging a little.

Luxury accommodation about 1 km from Sapporo Station
Pros:

Very friendly staff 10/10.
Excellent breakfast buffet 10/10.
Excellent room facilities.

Cons:

The interior lighting is unrelentingly dark. So dark that I couldn’t see the keypad in the lift to swipe my card. Same in the corridors leading to the rooms.
My wife has asthma and I’m prone to allergies. I found that if I sat in the room near the aircon vent then I had a sneezing attack shortly after the aircon turned on, which begs the question- when did they last change the aircon filters?

Location was great but we paid way too much (perhaps a Golden Week bump).
Pros:

The location is very good. It’s close to public transportation and parking is much easier than downtown. The staff were wonderful and so helpful. The hair dryer was awesome and toiletries were top quality for my wife.

Cons:

The decor is dark, the WiFi was weak and had no password. The breakfast was disappointing and lacked enough Japanese food - caters too much to western visitors.

I should have booked for longer; definitely recommend!
