A luxury stay conveniently located near Gion with helpful staff.
Pros:

The staff were accommodating in letting us leave our luggage before check in and brought our luggage up to our room before we got back. The room was pristine and smelled amazing! We loved having a private hot spring bath and a nice living room area to relax in. The traditional breakfast the next morning was incredible (the majority was seafood so be prepared for that).

Cons:

Nothing, this was an amazing stay!

Top tier hotel/hotel chain
Pros:

The staff are always so wonderful and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and I love the in-room hinoki wood onsen bath. The quality of this hotel/hotel chain is top tier. Fufu exceeds my expectations and I find to be even better than some other 5-star rated hotels I've stayed at. I look forward to staying at other Fufu locations on my future Japan travels.

Cons:

I wish the staff had more help and stay in good health. We didn't see much at all that we didn't like. They were wonderful and the accommodation is beautiful. There is not much that needs to change.
