The staff were lovely, the shower has really good water pressure and breakfast was lovely

Cons:

I’ve never seen so many flies in one place, which is fine given the location however the fly nets are on the inside of the window so you can’t open the window without opening the fly net and letting hundreds in - made it quite stuffy

Breakfast is good, it’s nice and quiet, very friendly staff, good food in the restaurant. Surprisingly there are full marathon markings on the road nearby

infamous "Mývatn mosquitoes" - just too many of them - ok only for a very short stay

Einfach traumhaft! Das großzügige Zimmer mit den großen Panoramafenstern und dem herrlichen Blick auf den Lake Mývatn war ein absolutes Highlight. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, und auch das Abendessen im Hotel können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Der Service war erstklassig – aufmerksam, freundlich und professionell. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt, den wir gerne in bester Erinnerung behalten werden.

La posizione è ottima per esplorare la regione del lago Myvatn. La vista sul lago dalla camera è semplicemente eccezionale, abbiamo passato un bellissimo soggiorno e serata con vista sul tramonto. Ottimo il confort della camera e buono anche il ristorante.
