Great stay at Hotel Laxa
Pros:

Nice hotel, room decor felt classy but still comfortable. Sits at an elevated location by itself so its very quiet here and the rooms have long views over the countryside. Onsite restaurant served very good food and the breakfast was also nice.

A Great 3 Night Stay At Hotel Laxa Including Our Myvatn 10km Running Race!
Pros:

We had a wonderful time at Hotel Laxa. I booked this hotel as we had entered the Myvatn 10km / Half-Marathon / Marathon race. (We did the 10km race) There's not a lot nearby with regards to restaurants, shops, etc. BUT, we came here for the scenery, walking, hiking and were not disappointed.

We ate at the Hotel Laxa Restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. The food was excellent in my opinion. Expensive, as most things are, but great quality & lovely!

Our room was fine; bed comfortable, shower great and toilet perfecto.

The location was right on the ring road around Lake Myvatn, so perfect for our little tour (and race). TBH, we loved it!

All was jolly good!
