De locatie ten opzichte van ons terugreis

Cons:

Zo een beetje alles! Geen 4 sterren waard. Als je op booking.com zoekt op 4 sterren dan wil je luxe en faciliteiten. Geen oude meuk! Dit hotel valt van ellende uit elkaar. Geen airco, kamertemp 28 graden en hoger. Plafond laat los. Tapijt 30 jaar oud. Een houten plank zou comfortabeler zijn om op te slapen. Dit is niet de novotel die ik herken.

Wir würden das Hotel in seinem derzeitigen Zustand nicht noch einmal buchen.
Pros:

Positiv hervorheben können wir das grundsätzlich ordentliche Abendessen und das akzeptable Frühstück, sowie die netten Mitarbeiter

Cons:

Wir hatten uns aufgrund der 4-Sterne-Kategorie, der beworbenen Renovierung und der Familienfreundlichkeit deutlich mehr von diesem Hotel versprochen. Leider entsprach unser Aufenthalt nicht unseren Erwartungen.

Das größte Problem war für uns das Zimmer. Es gab keine Klimaanlage, sondern lediglich einen älteren, deutlich verstaubten Ventilator. Bei sommerlichen Temperaturen hatten wir nachts noch etwa 29 °C im Zimmer. Da unser Zimmer im Erdgeschoss lag, wollten wir das Fenster aus Sicherheitsgründen nachts nicht vollständig geöffnet lassen. Hinzu kam, dass Geräusche und insbesondere die Wasserleitungen aus den angrenzenden Zimmern sehr deutlich zu hören waren. Entsprechend schlecht haben wir geschlafen.

Die Renovierung von 2024 empfanden wir eher als oberflächliche optische Auffrischung. Der Teppichboden in unserem Zimmer wirkte stark in die Jahre gekommen und wenig ansprechend. Auch die Gestaltung mit sichtbaren Spanplatten an verschiedenen Stellen vermittelt für uns keinen hochwertigen Eindruck. Besonders irritierend fanden wir dieses Material direkt oberhalb des Frühstücksbuffets.

Auch bei der Sauberkeit besteht aus unserer Sicht Verbesserungsbedarf. Im Restaurant-/Frühstücksbereich waren an mehreren Stellen deutlich sichtbare Spinnweben vorhanden.

Das Frühstück selbst war in Ordnung, allerdings hätten wir uns bei einem Hotel dieser Kategorie mehr frisches Obst und Gemüse gewünscht. Das Abendessen war ebenfalls okay. Die Getränkepreise empfanden wir im Verhältnis zum Gebotenen als hoch.

Für Familien war das Hotel für uns ebenfalls enttäuschend. Der auf Bildern bzw. in der Hoteldarstellung erwartete Spielplatz war während unseres Aufenthalts demontiert, und die vorhandene Kinderecke wirkte sehr stark benutzt und wenig gepflegt. Der Außenpool ist wesentlich kleiner, als wir ihn aufgrund der Darstellung erwartet hatten. Auch der Außenbereich rund um den Pool wirkte auf uns wenig einladend und ungepflegt, viele Pflanzen waren vertrocknet.
