Joelle Premium Hotel

Getting to the hotel was unpleasant, as there was no proper road and we had to walk through a construction site. Our room overlooked an abandoned construction site, which was a very unpleasant surprise.

At check-in, we were shown a rather intimidating notice stating that eating in the room was prohibited and would result in a fine.

The swimming pool was difficult to find, and reaching it required walking through the parking area. The water was freezing cold, and when I asked the staff whether it would be heated, I couldn’t get a clear answer.

The breakfast was very poor, with a very limited selection. The only fruits available were partly spoiled bananas and watermelon, and the coffee was terrible.

There was also an unpleasant moldy smell in the bathroom.

Overall, I expected a much better experience for the price. Apart from the comfortable bed and blackout curtains, the stay was disappointing and did not offer good value for money.

There was a wedding hosted on our first night, we were only informed of this at check in where I feel we should’ve been notified when we booked. The loud music and fireworks continued after midnight and then there was an hour of noise from the restaurant as they rearranged furniture. Despite the receptionist going to speak to the restaurant staff about the noise, it continued. The hotel was generally lacking in soundproofing as I also could repeatedly hear other guests arguing and talking. The music played at the beach bar was very loud so it wasn’t very relaxing on the lounge chairs. The restaurant staff were unhelpful, not even greeting us in the morning for breakfast. At breakfast we had to set up our own table with cutlery and napkins etc and weren’t offered any help, everything was self service. The fruit offered was terrible, mushy overripe bananas and other unappealing choices. There were no dairy free alternatives for milk or yogurt and very limited vegetarian options. Access to the car park is down a very steep hill that requires very confident driving. There is a lot of construction in the area.

My friend and I wanted to leave a fair and balanced review of this hotel. We visited at the beginning of the off-peak season, so we kept our expectations in line with the time of year.

The breakfast was perfectly adequate, with plenty of options to choose from. However, a little more variety would have been appreciated, along with quicker replenishment of some items. We occasionally found ourselves waiting longer than expected for food such as eggs to be refilled.

On arrival, you are greeted by a number of signs outlining the hotel's rules, which can initially come across as quite strict. However, this impression doesn't reflect the atmosphere once you're actually staying there, nor the staff, who were welcoming and friendly.

In our room, we felt the lighting could be improved. There were no bedside or reading lights, just one main light, which isn't ideal if one person wants to read while the other wants to sleep.

Unfortunately, our room also overlooked a neighbouring hotel that appeared to be less than half constructed. This is, of course, outside the hotel's control, but it was a shame as it detracted from what would otherwise have been a lovely view. Staff explained that construction work isn't permitted during the peak summer season, which is understandable, although the neighbouring building appeared to have been unfinished for some time. It's a shame that this ongoing development affects the outlook from the hotel, particularly given the stunning views it otherwise has to offer.

Overall, we wanted to highlight these points while recognising that some of our experience may have been influenced by the time of year and factors outside the hotel's control. With a few small improvements, particularly around breakfast and room lighting, the stay could have been even better.

Работница в столовой не приветливая. Подъезд к стоянке - очень крутой спуск. Выезд - крутой подъём. Пляж средний. Заходить в море немного не удобно, так как берега нет.

Das erste was man sieht wenn man das Hotel betritt ist ein Schild auf dem steht "Eigenes Essen und Trinken im Hotelzimmer verboten. Bei Zuwiderhandlung 100€ Strafe". Das Hotel ist an sich ok aber mein Eindruck war das man hier den Gästen das Geld aus der Tasche ziehen möchte.

Lors de notre arrivée, on nous a confirmé qu’on avait accès au spa . Finalement fermé pour (base saison)

Attention au jus de fruit qui sont très sucré et pas naturelle

Accès à l’hôtel compliqué avec une grande descente

Parking très petit pour le nombre de chambres disponibles

Pour accéder à la piscine, il faut obligatoirement passer par le parking un peu moyen

Beaucoup de chats Hérans, qui rentrent dans le restaurant
Tarif, restauration un peu cher, si on compare avec d’autres hôtels dans la même gamme

Les fruits sont durs et pas diversifiés

Rien car tout est parfait.

Wir hatten bei sehr stürmischen Wetter das Gefühl, dass etwas sehr laut auf dem Dach geklopft hat, wodurch wir in der Nacht zwischendurch geweckt worden sind.
