The staff were lovely except one girl was not happy about asking for a glass of ice and water as we made our way to bed dont know why as we had been eating and drinking for the evening,the food was lovely .the room was a bit tired and bathroom was in need of refurb was dull and seemed a bit damp. Could see the sea but had a fire escape in front of window. . A bit out if the way a bit of a walk to high street as well. All in all was a nice place with beach right there would go again but to different room. Location and food along with staff are worth anither visit ..
Bit far frm high street area wasnt great not a lot there., but the hotel had nice food and the beach was not mad busy .
The location of this hotel is superb..you cannot get closer to a beach!. The room I had is the one and only with a balcony which makes a big difference even if the room is a bit small. The hotel is well run and quiet at night and the staff worked tirelessly in the heat to satisfy guests. There is a good choice of food available all day . The decor is charming in rooms 203/4/5
Only a small question? would it not be possible to set aside a space for residents to sit downstairs during the day? The bars and terrace are understandably busy and noisy at all times.

I enjoy the accessibility via the lift to upper floors, the quality of the breakfast and food provision and the comfortable bed and shower. The staff are universally friendly and helpful. This is a repeated visit, so clearly I recommend and will hope to return.
The bathroom window would not open and the bathroom spelt a little damp, but was clean and the shower was lovely.

Breakfast was lovely, staff great, food in the evening overpriced example a jacket potato with beans £10 , fish finger sandwich was over £14, they charge these prices as there’s not very many places to chose to eat in the evening.
Our room was extremely tiny for a double bed as we had no room to move around, not a comfy chair to relax in, room was in the roof so it was extremely hot with a view of the main road the arcade did not close till midnight, during the week some teenagers turned up with some mixing decks and the sound from them was rediculous, while we were there we noticed cracks appearing in the ceiling that got bigger over the days, there was a fan in our room that was a plug in and the noise overwhelmed the sound of the television, our shower had a mind of its own, while using it would be so hot it was scolding then go freezing cold so it was a bit of a jump in jump out to shower, the hotel advertised that they have air conditioning but not in our room, we payed £490 for 3 nights, and to top this off the lift wasn’t working so had to drag our cases up 3 flights of stairs.

We had a problem with the shower in our room, this was sorted then next day.
Location is perfect and my room was very good ideed. The bed was comfortable and the choice of food and drink is excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel does its best to make everyone enjoy their stay. In spite of it being a very busy weekend, everything worked perfectly.
