Not worth the money I spent

There were pest issues , mice roaming around in the central lobby , really a shame , didn’t feel like it is Marriott, when told staff they didn’t show any urgency , offered a free drink to which I said no , shocking

This hotel is in a PREMIER location for exploring / walking Ghent. I don’t think there is a better location to start your exploration from.

Nice experience, great location
Pros:

Location was perfect. We were only in Gent for one night and wanted to spend it mostly in city centre, so it made it very easy to walk around and save money on Ubers which we previously had to spend a lot on when we stayed at the Van der Valk last time. Very nice and pleasant check-in staff and clean facilities.

Excellent location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast

Cons:

The bed wasn’t that comfortable, although the sheets were good quality. The food in the restaurant in the evening was very poor. The car parking was too expensive
