Luxe hotel op perfecte locatie in het hartje centrum van Gent en toch heerlijk rustig!
Pros:

Perfecte locatie, midden in het hartje van Gent en toch geen (over)last van geluiden uit de binnenstad.
Je loopt zo het hotel uit en je staat gelijk midden tussen alle terrasjes en restaurants. En de auto staat heerlijk ondergronds geparkeerd. Paarkeervakken wel vrij krap dus even opletten met je 'buurman' en de betonnen pilaren.
Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam met het beantwoorden van je vragen en het geven van tips.

Cons:

Op zich is mij niets tegengevallen maar zijn de volgende punten wel het melden waard.
Zoals aangegeven is het erg prettig dat men de auto direct onder het hotel kan parkeren. Weliswaar betaald maar dat vind ik niet vreemd wanneer men zich midden in het centrum bevindt. De parkeervakken zijn wel aan de krappe of smalle kant! Even opletten met inparkeren ivm de auto van je 'buurman' en de betonnen pilaren.
Ander 'minpunt' is dat de ramen op de hotelkamer niet open kunnen. Al is het maar dat ze op een 'kiepstand' kunnen voor wat frisse lucht. Het is natuurlijk erg persoonlijk maar ik slaap liever met een raam open dan met een airco aan.

geweldig hotel
Pros:

De vriendelijkheid van het personeel is bijna niet te beschrijven. Van receptie tot kamerschoonmaak, iedereen is zo hulpvaardig en vriendelijk!
Het hotel straalt zoveel luxe uit en heeft echt alles wat je hoopt terug te vinden. Daarnaast staat het midden in het bruisende deel van Gent maar dan met geluidweering en een zeer stille airco en een hele ruime kamer met werkelijk alles er op en er aan.
Je kunt je auto of vroeg op de dag in hun garage kwijt en op de vertrekdag hoef je het pas heel laat op te halen. Alles kan hier.

Cons:

De messen waren niet zo scherp bij het ontbijt en alles is duur in Gent (eigenlijk overal in Europa).

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at the Ghent Marriot, which is a splendid hotel! Much enjoyed!
Pros:

I really liked the location of the Ghent Marriot, because we were within walking distance of so many wonderful tourist hot spots.

Cons:

It's a minor thing, but I was slightly bemused by the 100 Euro deposit I needed to pay.
