Accoglienza e lontananza dal caos
Poca scelta nella colazione, e ambiente in camera un po umido

Un accueil chaleureux par le patron, un endroit authentique, rare à trouver…
La posizione é fantastica e l’alloggio è curato nei minimi dettagli. Il panorama é mozzafiato e si può godere di un’alba magica. Sei distante dal caos del centro e questo ti permette di vivere a pieno la natura dell’isola. La vicinanza alla parte più antica é la cosa migliore. Stupendo!
Durante la fase di prenotazione mi sono premurata di chiedere uno yogurt di soia per la colazione inclusa (ovviamente pagata, altrimenti avremmo scelto un alloggio diverso). Mi é stato risposto che non c’erano problemi e che avrei trovato tutto. Al mio arrivo l’host mi ha comunicato che lo yogurt di soia non c’era, che non é stato comprato, che loro non lo tengono ma che “lo yogurt di capra é buonissimo e puro, buono uguale”… Inoltre, mi ha comunicato che avrei avuto una porzione di frutta extra visto che non potevo mangiare nient’altro: nulla. La mattina seguente mi hanno fatto trovare uno yogurt di prugna. Pazienza. Purtroppo peró si paga un servizio e questo non é corretto, soprattutto quando il cliente avvisa più è più volte prima del suo arrivo così da non creare problemi, ricevendo sempre risposte affermative.

The location is great, walking distance from restaurants and bars. The breakfast was simple but delicious and exactly what you need before heading out and the staff were friendly and attentive.
The hotel was absolutely amazing. Everything was very clean and modern-looking, and the staff was super sweet. We had to leave early in the morning and they arranged the breakfast earlier so that we could get some before we left. Would recommend anyone to stay here!
Struttura molto carina e situata in una zona molto tranquilla di Pyrgos con una magnifica vista su Santorini! La terrazza è perfetta per ammirare il tramonto.

La vue sur la caldera depuis la terrasse est magnifique, et la chambre était spacieuse et confortable.
A propriedade é muito bonita. Adorei a vista do terraço, principalmente ao pequeno-almoço. Fomos na sexta-feira santa (Páscoa Ortodoxa) e (também) por isso foi muito especial. Conseguia ver o fogo da minha cama. Recomendarei certamente aos meus familiares e amigos.

Loved everything about our apartment. Super clean, very comfortable beds, amazing easthetics. The rooms are in a quite private courtyard and there is an amazing terrace with view, no need to go anywhere to catch the sunset.

We had such a wonderful stay at this picturesque property. It is in a beautiful hilltop location, in the quieter and charming town of Pyrgos. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, we also had a lovely dinner to watch the sunset at Rosemarys, just a short walk from the property. Breakfast on the terrace was a perfect way to start the day.
Arxegono Cave Houses are an excellent place to stay whilst on Santorini especially if you do not want to be in the busy parts on the Caldera. They are also easily accessible by public transport. The cave room we had was beautifully appointed with everything we needed provided for. We had a warm welcome from Fotis who kindly accommodated us staying an extra night as we got caught up in a ferry strike. It was an extreemly comfortable stay and we very much enjoyed using the roof terrace both to see the sunset across the island and for breakfast. Having seen the reviews we also ate at Rosemary owned by Fotis and tried their homegrown wine - all of which was excellent. We were also able to leave our bags on check out enabling us to enjoy the day before collecting them before we headed off to an overnight ferry.
