Home away from home, truly!
Pros:

We got here after a lot of travelling and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! The place was truly home away from home; Ami is a very kind and lovely host, and everything was just as expected, or surely more than expected! Certainly the place that we would go if we ever come back to Basel!

Lovely accommodation close to the railway station and excellent cafes and restaurants.

We had large suitcases which had to be carried upstairs. We managed though.

Wonderful host shares a beautiful heritage building. Highly recommend.

Owner was very gracious, helpful and responsive to inquiries.
Pros:

Good location for the trams to the train station and to the Altstadt.

Cons:

Cooking odors upon arrival and very steep 2 flights of stairs to the room.
