Pros:

駅からも近く、またトラムで街中にも行きやすく、近くには朝も昼も食事のできるかなりレベルの高いパン屋さんがあり、とても便利な場所だった。お家は歴史的な建物のようだ。オーナーの方はとてもフレンドリーだった。良い立地の割にはお得感があると思う。

Cons:

掲載写真はかなり盛っているのか、AIを使って美化しているのか、実際はかなり印象と違った。外の扉が鉄格子のようで、しかし鍵がついておらず、変な少し威圧感があった。オーナーの方が作られているお料理のせいかな？と思われるスパイシーな香りが家中にしていたので、せっかくお台所や居間を使えるようになっていても、そこで寛ぐ気持ちになれなかった。自由に使えるタオルがたくさん共有のバスルームにあったが、髪の毛がついていたり、低温洗濯なのか匂いが気になった。あと引き出しの中がぐちゃぐちゃでした。部屋の扉を開け閉めする度にギシギシいうので、夜中にトイレに行く時などに他の部屋の方の迷惑になるんじゃないか？と気になった。ダブルベットが大人二人にはギリギリという感じ。そして寝返りを打つたびにギシギシ言った。駐車場があるように記載されていたが、家には駐車場はついておらず、路上駐車のブルーゾーンには全く可能性はなく、紹介されたパークハウスのある場所まで少し歩いた。歩ける距離だったけれど雨だったら大変だと思った。そしてもちろん連泊した分の長時間の駐車代がかかった。良い方だったのであまり細かく書きたくないけれど、今後のために何か役に立ったら良いなと思います。

Bien situé mais strictement pour dormir – une chambre non équipée dans une maison ancienne privée
Pros:

Lieu très proche de la gare et d'un Coop Pronto ouvert tard le soir. Endroit très calme avec des fenêtres qui s'ouvrent. Cuisine et salon en commun avec tout l'équipement nécessaire. Propriétaire anglophone très sympathique, possibilité de s'asseoir dehors avec une petite table et des chaises. Lit bien comfortable.

Cons:

Si vous avez le sommeil léger, les murs des chambres 2&3 sont en carton. Vous entendez alors fortement la clef dans la serrure de la chambre du voisin, la porte qui claque – mes voisins le faisaient à chaque entrée/sortie de chambre. Il n'y a pas de table, ni de TV dans la chambre. C'est donc strictement un endroit pour dormir avec des WC et la salle de bains à part à l'étage.

Home away from home, truly!
Pros:

We got here after a lot of travelling and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! The place was truly home away from home; Ami is a very kind and lovely host, and everything was just as expected, or surely more than expected! Certainly the place that we would go if we ever come back to Basel!

Lovely accommodation close to the railway station and excellent cafes and restaurants.
