Lovely small hotel with reasonable prices and excellent food in the restaurant.
Pros:

Friendly staff, nice, reasonably priced room overlooking the park, excellent location a few hundred metres from the Polish/German border to Frankfurt/O. Excellent restaurant with a good choice of dishes, including wild boar and venison. Good continental breakfast. Easy on-street parking opposite the hotel. Would stay there again.

Cons:

Could not find anything wanting at this price level.

The staff do not speak english. Also you can hear transport noise from the city and there was night party in the park in front of the hotel.

Direkt an der Grenze und gleich neben dem Hotel befindet sich eine Tierklinik, die für mich sehr praktisch war. Das Hotel ist sehr tierfreundlich. Direkt in der Nähe gibt es auch einen Lebensmittelmarkt und auf der anderen Straßenseite einen schönen kleinen Park. Das Hotel ist sauber und gemütlich. Alles war perfekt – ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Cons:

Die Wände sind etwas dünn. Abends konnte man den Fernseher aus dem Nachbarzimmer hören.

Hotel OK, shame it's in the wrong place
Pros:

Hotel is in Slubice, which is just across the border from Frankfurt an der Oder in Germany. Neither place could be described as a tourist trap, though it is a lot cheaper than the German side but has few facilities. It's also a good staging post if you're touring the area.

The hotel is what you would expect, perfectly OK with few frills.

Cons:

The town itself is no great shakes. I had a meal that night that was heavily mediocre and while there are some more up-market restaurants, the only bar I could find was at the lower end of the scale (though VERY cheap).

Symphatiek mede dankzij het super vriendelijke personeel
Pros:

Hotel Anka is een aanrader als je naar Frankfurt an der Oder reist. Aan de andere kant van de brug, aan de Poolse kant. Authentiek, charmant, vriendelijk.

Cons:

er is geen airco maar de radiator op de kamer maakt dat goed.
