A lovely location, just needs some upkeep in the older apartments.
Pros:

Location is perfect with beach front and coastal walks in a quiet part of Gold Coast.
Pool and spa are nice which were used often by our family. The outdoor garden areas are kept very well. The units are spacious. Our host Barry was friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The unit was tired and shower doors mildewy and some cracked tile. The kitchen lacked quality cooking/serving utensils and salad/mixing bowls.
It would of been nice to have a few extras eg salt, food cling wrap or some food containers.

The kitchen and all of the contents were pretty filthy. Everything was covered in a light film of grease. It was ok after we put everything through the dishwasher a couple of times and spent an evening giving everything a good scrub.

Pros:

This apartment is in a fantastic location. It has sea views and is in walking distance to local patrolled beaches, cafes and 2 surf life saving clubs. It's only a 5 minute walk away from Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary which is well worth a visit. The apartment is spacious and well equipped, there is also a good sized outdoor area that is well furnished with a large table, chairs, sunbeds and an outdoor shower, it has it's own gate with direct access to the path that leads to the beach.

Cons:

It does feel a little exposed as it is close to the footpath outside which gets quite busy, there are shutters on all windows but it would be nice to have some shrubbery across the fence to provide a bit more privacy.

Excellent Apartment and Facilities
Pros:

The resort was lovely and tidy. We used the spa attached to the pool everyday. It was in fabulous location, right on the beach and close to everything. Barry and Libby were wonderful hosts, very accommodating.

It filled a bucket list to attend Currumbin Dawn Service. I probably wouldn't stay there again.
Pros:

The location was absolutely perfect to be able to go to the ANZAC Dawn Service at Elephant Rock. The weather was not on our side as it rained the whole time. The beach was just at the back gate so very impressive. It was a treat to receive ANZAC biscuits at our door.

Cons:

The unit was not very clean, we arrived at night and when we entered the unit, cockroaches were scurrying everywhere. We took a cheese platter with us for supper, and we opened the kitchen drawer and again cockroaches were in the cutlery drawer along with their droppings. We literally had to wash everything before we used it. No milk in the unit for a cup of coffee either.
