Good location, good staff, excellent bakery.
Pros:

Staff were friendly and responsive.

Cons:

The room doors are heavy and being in a corner room with 4 rooms nearby, every door opening and closing was incredibly loud & disturbing. I realize it’s a function of upgrade design, but will keep me from future stays.

Pros:

Gute Lage in wunderschöner Gegend in der Nähe des Central Park. U-Bahn in der Nähe. Wunderschönes Belle Epoche Gebäude. 10 Dollar Gutschein für ein Frühstück in der Bäckerei im Haus. Gratis Führung mit einem tollen Guide in der Upper West Side und im Central Park.

Cons:

Kleines Zimmer mit Blick auf eine Feuermauer. Keine Minibar und kein Kaffee bzw. Tee am Zimmer. Zahnputzbecher aus Plastik.

Pros:

Bell’hotel in una comoda posizione per visitare NY. Personale della reception gentilissimo, consierge sempre sorridente e disponibile. Colazione impeccabile, qualche tavolo in più sarebbe stato comodo.

Cons:

Camere veramente piccole, assolutamente non adatte per una famiglia di 4 persone come eravamo noi. In generale le camere meriterebbero una rivisitazione, bagno vecchio e poco funzionale oltre che piccolo.
La vera nota stonata però era la pulizia, assolutamente precaria e stanza già polverosa al nostro arrivo.

We loved our stay! Location was great, staff was amazing.
Pros:

Front desk staff was wonderful and they got us in our room quickly and early. Benedict was so fun! Loved him.

2 days with no AC in room, kept telling us it was working or would start working soon.
Pros:

close to restaurants and central park.

Cons:

The AC unit in our room didn't work. It took 2 days to get a room change. We were promised a credit due to the inconvenience but have yet to see a credit or actually hear back from management. The rooms are very small. The bakery for breakfast is nice and convenient, but does not have any allergy friendly options and is very crowded in the mornings. Staff was friendly and helpful, but management does not seem to follow through with commitments.

Pros:

Very friendly and professional staff.

Cons:

My only concern was that the air-conditioning was not working in the lobby area due to the excessive heat in NYC. My room AC worked beautifully, but I felt sorry for the staff.
