Important information:

Food served in the Restaurant: Monday to Friday from 17:00 until 20:00, Saturday from 15:00 until 20:00 and Sunday from 12:00 until 17:00.

Bar opening hours are: Monday to Thursday 15:00 to 22:00, Friday from 14:00 til late, Saturday from 12:00 til late and Sunday from 12:00 til 21:00.

Late check-in after 23:00 maybe possible by prior arrangement with the property and an additional fee of GBP 25 applies.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Cons:

There was no information provided at check in besides location of our room, nothing about the spa/pool or restaurant times. Felt very awkward asking for a table, was asked “have you booked?” We weren’t told we needed to book! Service was slow although staff were friendly enough. Food started at 5pm and by 6pm some items on the already small menu were not available and by 7pm no longer taking orders even though they seated a family and gave them menus, only advice was to order a pizza to be delivered to the site.
Reception check in is the bar which, to be honest didn’t feel very professional. Would I return? Probably not, was looking forward to the spa and pool but wasn’t told anything about it. Definately felt more like an owners site than somewhere the general public would book.

Excellent we will be back
Pros:

Staff faye,siobhaun and fynn made us so comfortable and went above and beyond and made us so welcome

Cons:

No access to adult only swim facility and sauna
Also kids playing pool under our room disturbing sleep despite staff closing to room
Advice would be to lock the door amd maybe put a closed sign on

Had a lovely comfortable room, lovely food and excellent staff.
Pros:

Lots of original features, amazing Tudor style doors as an example

Cons:

Was slightly difficult to find as in the middle of a holiday park but not really an issue

2 night stay at Woodlands
Pros:

Excellent room, very comfortable with all the amenities required. Pool and spa was an excellent bonus. Beautiful woodland setting with amazing views however a car would be needed to access local services.

Pool and spa.
