Un beau séjour dans un charmant village
Pros:

Situé dans un village charmant, avec une grande terrasse très agréable, la bâtisse est charmante avec une ambiance de pub et je restaurant

Cons:

Sur nos 3 chambres, une était un peu petite pour 2. Idem pour la sdb.
Les lits étaient un peu mous et creusés mais sans que cela perturbe le sommeil

A lovely old hotel full of character
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was really good and it was lovely to sit outside. The rooms were very nice and the atmosphere was wonderful. We would definitely come back again.

Overall we had a lovely stay here, we would highly recommend it.
Pros:

The room was lovely, very comfortable bed and bedding. Breakfast was spot on, plenty of choice with great quality ingredients.

Cons:

The bathroom needs a blind as the sun shines directly into the room making the room very hot. Also needed for privacy.

Staff very welcoming and quietly efficient for both supper and breakfast

Location is excellent for Cirencester shopping

Cons:

The carpets throughout particularly the stairs and in the restaurant are in need of replacement they are heavily stained which reflects my score

Pros:

The pub and staff were great. We were in room 5 and you need to be aware that the stairs are very steep and windey. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Good stay in comfortable country pub
Pros:

The Eliot Arms is a comfortable country pub with rooms. Very pleasant and obliging staff. The room was well equipped and included a fan which was not needed during our visit, but good to see. Nice touches included still and sparkling water, as well as tea/coffee biscuits. Location is quiet and free parking is available. Breakfast was great with wide range of choice. Dinner menu was OK, but included a lot of grilled food. Booked early at a competitive rate and overall very pleased with our stay.

Sehr schönes, altes Hotel in den Cotswolds
Pros:

Sehr süsse Unterkunft. Wir hatten unser Doppelzimmer unterm Dach, leider konnte man das Fenster nur einen Spalt öffnen, es stand jedoch ein Ventilator zur Verfügung.
Die Betten waren sehr bequem und es sind ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden. Nur die Treppen ins Obergeschoss sind sehr steil und schmal, wir waren froh, nur mit Rucksack zu reisen.
Wir haben zudem im Restaurant der Unterkunft gegessen, sehr lecker, genauso wie das Frühstück, bei dem man neben einem kleinen Buffet auch aus einer Karte auswählen konnte.

Cons:

Im Badezimmer stand leider nur eine Badewanne, jedoch keine Dusche zur Verfügung. Zudem war eine ganz kleine Ablagefläche vorhanden, dabei hätte die Größe des Zimmers noch Platz für ein kleines Regal hergegeben.

Lovely pub, pleasant staff, excellent food - great for a short stay with hand luggage
Pros:

Lovely pub location, safe parking, food was excellent. We stayed during the 2026 heatwave so by definition everywhere was vey hot - pub included.

Cons:

Rooms are pretty small with poor ventilation. Stairs are very steep with cases.

A very charming pub hotel in a beautiful setting and close to Cirencester. Staff were exceptional and very friendly.
Pros:

Lovely pub with great staff who were very attentive. The food was good and the breakfasts some of the best we’ve had.

Cons:

The room was lovely overall, but the shower was a little temperamental and could benefit from being replaced. We also found that the window could only be opened slightly due to the restricted bracket, which limited ventilation. A more effective fan in the room would also be a worthwhile improvement.

Cons:

Room 1 was a little noisy in the mornings with deliveries, that was the only problem. We was only there 2 nights. So it didn't really matter, any longer than it would been a problem.

We were only booked to stayed for a night and it was comfortable
Pros:

the breakfast was well cooked and served fairly quickly.. not too much choice of buffet but good choice of cooked
The bed was very comfortable and bed linen and towels were clean and fresh

Cons:

We booked for dinner but due to the hot weather conditions the kitchen wasn’t using the ovens .. we drove into Cirencester for dinner
