The room is of good size, comfortably furnished and appointed. Bed is comfortable except for pillows which are large and over-stuffed so not receptive to a weary head. The bathroom was great with hooks and places to put your toiletries. We liked the access to the balcony and the insect screen on the door. It meant we could open the door at night for air. This was especially necessary as the hallways and room were always hot. The room doesn’t have a cool setting on the air con, only heat. Requests to reception staff didn’t result in any change.
Breakfast is variable. We were there for three mornings and one day there was an adequate variety of offerings, the buffet on another day was very sparse and on another day we were offered an individual choice of hot components. This might be because there were not many guests.
Apart from the inescapable hot temperature another shortcoming was the ‘frig’-mini bar. It wasn’t even cool yet contained drinks that are normally consumed cold. I spoke to two staff members who both said that the frig was only supposed to be at an ambient temperature and not designed to chill. I don’t get it, but it was certainly useless.
The tourist information office was closed in Sinaia, we were there in May, so we would have appreciated some maps, timetables and accurate, current information about local points of interest from reception.
It is a shame about these points because the hotel has the potential to be fabulous and could be perfect accommodation for visitors to lovely Sinaia.

Very clean, well located, courteous staff.
The rooms with balconies do not have air conditioning. We positioned the fan in the room to draw fresh air from outside into the room, which was ok for the May temperatures.
Also, the pillows were not comfortable.

Totul la acest hotel a fost extraordinar. De la curățenia din cameră, din cadrul hotelului, din zona de spa și din zona micului dejun, căldura ce putea fi reglată în cameră, personalul foarte amabil, dornic să ne ajute cu orice întrebare, disponbil la orice oră. Micul dejun a fost variat, cu produse proaspete și dacă se dorea o cantitate mai mare dintr-un produs se putea cere. Spa-ul constă în saună uscată, umedă și jacuzzi, toate curățate constant, cu o capacitate suficient de mare. În plus, există și o zonă de masaj contracost, calitativă și cu un personal foarte amabil de asemenea. Pentru zona de spa se vorbea la recepție și ni se aloca un interval orar unde puteam fi doar noi, ceea ce a adus un și mai mare plus de confort.
Parcarea este privată în spatele hotelului, suficient de spațioasă pentru numărul de camere de care dispune hotelul. Anexat acestuia este și restaurantul Licorna, cu un meniu diversificat, calitativ, personal amabil și servire rapidă.
Totul a fost minunat, a depășit așteptările și deja planificăm următoarea excursie în Sinaia pentru a putea revedea acest hotel.
A fost conform asteptarilor.

The hotel is very clean, the restaurant has very nice dinner options and the personnel is very friendly, patient and professional.
The breakfast is more on the limited side.
