大変満足しています
Pros:

水戸弘道館の直ぐ近くで、部屋の窓から櫓が見えてとても嬉しかったです。
朝食が大変おいしかったです。

Cons:

駅前なので夕食の場所は沢山あるのですが、雨天の日に泊まったので、一階のラウンジでお茶以外に簡単なサンドイッチ位の物が食べられると便利だと思いました。

期待以上に快適！
Pros:

施設そのものは古いが、部屋が小綺麗に改装されていたのがよかった。特に、大浴場を設置して部屋にはユニットバスを置かず、シャワールームにした上で、トイレと扉で隔てられていて、とても使いやすかった。
また、ホテルマンの皆さんの表情もよく、気持ちのよい接客だった。

Cons:

鍵が使いづらいのと、アメニティにカミソリや綿棒がないこと。

Pros:

デザイナーズルームに一泊しました。昔からあるホテルのようですが、エントランスとともにリニューアルしてるであろうデザインと清潔さでした。朝食バイキング付きで1人7000円ほど。ごはんも美味しかったです。

Cons:

共有部（エレベーターなど）はすこし古さを感じます。壁はちょっと薄めなのか廊下での話声は部屋にいて聞こえました。チェックアウトの際、フロントに女性スタッフが2人いて、やりとりをしていないスタッフさんは、顔をあげずに「ありがとうございました」と流れ作業のような挨拶でした。パソコンで作業しながらでしたね。高級ホテルではないにしろ、顔をあげてお客様のほうをみてお見送りする、という接客はホテル従業員として最低限必要ではないでしょうか。

駅近でいいと思う
Pros:

朝ごはんの芋煮汁とチーズ豆腐が美味しかった！ネバネバ丼が作れるのが良かった。朝から油淋鶏はいらないかもしれない。

Cons:

寒い。全館同一で管理しているらしく、一部屋だけ暖房を入れれなかった。寒かった。

Great location / view and hot bath
Pros:

Excellent location, my room 543 had a great view of the castle and a remarkable 1970s Barbican brutalism meets 1450 Ryoanji rock garden. The hot bath in B- had some extraordinary art work - see pics. Building is from 1974 - don't worry - it survived 2011/3/11

Cons:

At check in I was allocated a room with a views of white corrugated iron. I complained.
