For the fact of no actual kitchen I wouldn’t book again. All my personal opinions other then that the stay was nice
Pros:

It was clean and the neighbourhood was nice and quiet! The host was very nice. Helpful. You call he answers and seems to be very sweet and kind.

Cons:

There was no stove. I thought I was about to make a meal. You cannot run the ac and microwave at the same time. It will flip a switch.

Could be better.....
Pros:

Steve was very nice and accommodating. Nice, safe neighborhood. Street parking was easy and readily available but only in 2 hour slots during the weekdays. The place was clean.

Cons:

This 'apartment' was not as described in the listing. I searched for two bedrooms and got this listing and it is definitely not two bedrooms. A single bed is fine but putting it in the living room/kitchenette(?) area is awful. It may be ok for a child but there is no privacy when you have 3 adults. And the kitchenette is barely that. There is no way to cook anything other than microwaving. No stovetop, no pots and pans, barely enough dishware or silverware. No glasses, no running water anywhere except the bathroom - so cooking is not an option. Very noisy in the (very) early morning. While there was a 'patio', it was not useable - just a dirty area with a table and chairs. Although inexpensive for DC, a little honesty would have been preferred rather than 'you get what you pay for'. Not awful but disappointing.

Wonderful stay and location. Great deal. If I come back to D.C. I will most certainly consider staying here again.
Pros:

Conveniently located. Close to downtown D.C. but far enough away to avoid the craziness. Grocery shopping near by and a charming area of the city. Well kept and cleaned property, comfortable as well. Large king sized bed in the bedroom and a small bed in the living room area.

Cons:

There’s nothing the owners can do about this but the ceilings are low. I’m 6’1 and I had to watch my head.

Pros:

No frills stay which was ok for 1 night. I liked the neighbourhood. The bed was very comfortable. Steve responded immediately when I couldn't work the coffee maker!

Cons:

Low ceilings with a tall person!. Slight musty smell not good for asthma sufferers. The entrance was not very inviting, but that was more the neighbourers rubble under their stairs. Light for dining area not found until Steve showed me next morning.
