The hotel restaurant is now open and we serve Continental Breakfast Buffett for FREE of charge, daily from 9 a.m.-10 a.m.
Iris hotel does not do other meals then the Continental Breakfast.
Iris Hotel has a small Bar which is open from 11 a.m. -6 p.m. (for afternoon coffees/teas /cakes) and
18:00 p.m. until 22:00 p.m. (for alcohol drinks)
The property can provide an iron and ironing board on request only.
No cooked meals are available at the property.
Continental Breakfast is available free of charge.
Please note the lead guest must be 18 years and older. All guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
No Show Policy: In case of No Show , your reservation will be canceled and total amount will be charged . We advise you to pick up your room key within the time required on your booking: 15:00 p.m.-20:00 p.m.

The property charges an additional GBP 10 for bookings with one child under 12 years, provided the child uses existing beds. This amount will be automatically charged from the card provided at the time of booking.

A elevator is available in the hotel but cannot accommodate mobility scooters, wheelchairs or push chairs. The Annex building does not have a elevator. As such, this property is not recommended for guests with mobility issues.

Parking is available along the Promenade, with no charges from 16:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Location to the station and the cleanliness of the place and the pleasant and helpful staff
The heating and the basic menu.

Room was below average. Bathrooms are not so good, barely hot water in shower. The window glass pane was cracked.

Pleasantly surprised to be honest. Great room, comfy bed, bath in the bathroom. Well decorated & clean
Could have done with a few extra choices in the continental breakfast like croissants, pastry's etc, maybe some wet fruit for the cereals or yogurts like grapefruit or berries
Large Seaview room, Large shower, decent bed.
Entrance to hotel needs tidying up & good hoover. Slanted ceiling on 4th floor so the curtains rest about 2ft away from the window. Pointless putting them up, room needed a blind. Continental breakfast ok very basic, no pastries, all condiments asda smart price. Toaster took forever and only half the toaster working.
The staff at breakfast were lovely, attentive and friendly. The bed was comfy.
I don't think you can list breakfast as 'continental' you can order cooked eggs but otherwise it is cereal or toast. We had to walk past huge piles of rubbish (that had been ripped open by seagulls) on the way from the annex building to the main building. Annex door left open all day and night... a few metres from the rubbish piles. Broken and ill placed shower. Single glazing windows.

Rooms were not cleaned right the skirting boards were so dirty and walls could be washed down also curtains had holes in them terrible?The wardrobe door would not open because off bedroom door this needs looked at ..also no heat in in rooms was very cold they had small heaters that were not pat tested and are plug got so warm we had to use a towel to get it out .so bed .There was a noise from lift out side are bedroom .
Location was ok but nothing else
We had stayed here in 2015 and we had a good stay
But I think it has changed owners
The bathroom was disgusting with a large amount of faeces on the outside if the toilet bowl
The room was cold there was an electric heater
We were told we couldn’t take hot food to the room as the smell could upset other guests but the was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke in the corridors which was very unpleasant
We booked for two nights arriving at 7.25 pm and we went straight out for a gig when we got back to room after eating our food in reception and noticed the bathroom we didn’t want to stay here
There was no one on reception at night I did message the hotel when we left at 1am but they have still not replied to me 3 days later, very disappointed
