Lovely, well cared for villa and garden in Akumal North. Secure and welcoming in a very safe neighbourhood. Close to the beach, lagoon and restaurants. Akumal North on Half Moon Bay is away from the throngs, yet within walking distance of Akumal Beach for more restaurants, tours and amenities. David, Dan, Bambi and Esther, were wonderful hosts who even upgraded our suite as a larger one came available.

Outstanding home on a secluded and quiet part of town. The apartment had absolutely everything you could imagine, and even well beyond that. We loved the rooftop, and I took every opportunity to be there. Now you will need a car to get there, so that should a clear cut expectation. For swimmers there are lot of swimming opportunities the Yal Ku lagoon is amazing.

Nous avons passé un magnifique sejour chez Dave et Dan, dans un grand appartement très bien équipé. La villa est située dans une zone residentielle très calme et meme si elle n'est pas en bord de mer, l acces y est facile. Plusieurs restaurants et bar en proximité ainsi qu un accès gratuit a la cenote située à 100 m. Mais, surtout, un accueil formidable de la part de Dave et Dan, deux personnes que nous avons beaucoup appreciés pour leur culture, humour et joie de vivre. Encore merci pour ce breakfast de bienvennue extraordinaire qui montre toute l'attention des hotes de ce lieu.

Dan and David were amazing hosts, they were really welcoming when we arrived showing us around and making us feel at home. We stayed with my mum and dad and had our first breakfast cooked by the hosts which was delicious and they went out of their way to not only arrange, but bake a homemade cake for my mum's birthday which made the stay really special. The rooms are beautiful, kitchen well equipped and we loved getting free access to the Yalku lagoon nearby. It was such a better experience than staying in a hotel and the sunsets from the rooftop were amazing.

The owners David and Dan met me upon arrival. They helped with booking a taxi from Cancun airport. The apartment was very spacious, with high ceiling, giant comfy beds, and full kitchen that had everything in it. The next morning I was invited to a feast - breakfast with pancakes and scrambled egg, fruits, etc. I was told about beaches, best places to swim, and gifted a free pass to Yul-ku lagoon that was just around the corner from the apartment. Manuela came every day to clean. There was a problem with hot water and pressure in the shower, and it was resolved. It is a quiet, spotless place full of art pieces, with a lovely dog and a cat. I enjoyed my stay and will come back again.

Charming old house that is spotless. David and Dan are perfect hosts. So helpful and welcoming! Within an easy walk to several restaurants. DO plan to go snorkeling in the lagoon just around the corner! Fantastic!
