L’emplacement ! Très bien situé. C’est une bâtisse en rénovation.
C’est une bâtisse ancestrale, donc les planchers craquent et la propreté pourrait être légèrement augmentée.
The most comfortable bed and especially pillows I’ve ever slept on in a hotel. Close to rue St Paul and the central metro interchange at Berri UQAM. Nice modern deco.
The staff were rarely at the front desk and if you want to leave your bags with them or retrieve your bags you can be waiting up to 20 min as was my experience. Not great when I had an inter-city train to catch. They don’t give you a number to call either so you are left to shout out hoping they will hear you. The whole building is also surrounded by scaffolding so you feel like you are entering a construction site. There is no filtered water fountain and the shower door handle was broken. The biggest irony is despite being called Lift Hotel there is no lift and I had to lug my bags up three flights of stairs that spiral around quite steeply and tight.
Chambre minuscule sans grand équipement : pas de chaise, pas de table de chevet, pas de fer à repasser, pas de machine à café, pas d’endroit pour mettre sa valise. Sans ascenseur ni de réception. Difficile de voir quelqu’un.
Mal insonorisé, on entend tous les claquements des portes et les voix dans le couloir. Décevant.

May be coz of the F1 weekend, but it was a v expensive stay for that small room.
The bed was comfortable, location was superb.
Staff was friendly and attentive.
The room was super cramped up though. There wasn't even a glass or paper cups kept in the room (considering the price we paid)
and those stairs!

Pas de possibilité de petit déjeuner, bâtiment completement vétuste, on peux même sérieusement douter de la sécurité des personnes.
Central location
We received the check-in notice after we arrived at the hotel. We were traveling from South America and were not able to get the information while on the plane.
No elevators
The room is awfully small for the price
The door code did not work and I had to walk down 3 floors to request assistance
No means to make a simple coffee or boil water to make tea Parking comes at an additional cost and a few mins away from the hotel which is mentioned. However, the parking space did not seem well managed - staff were not very helpful, confusion on ticketing, saw customers yelling etc. which made it feel unsafe.
With construction outside the hotel, it took a while to find the hotel. I was expecting better direction and signage to easily spot the hotel.
Overall, did not find my stay pleasant, convenient or value for my money.
Personnel peu accueillant. Parle SEULEMENT en anglais. Sont sur leurs cellulaires au téléphone pendant qu’ils discutent avec les clients.
