This place is amazing
With a great view of the waterfall from the balcony. The host was lovely and cooked the most delicious vegan food for us. 7 curries with salad.rice. poppadoms and mango to fInish. Breakfast was excellent too. The cabin was nicely done too. We had great communication with the owner. A great place to stay for a visit to explore the waterfall top and bottom. He arranged a tuk tuk to the top side of waterfall if you do not fancy the tricky hike. It is still a 25 minute walk from tuk tuk drop. But a lot easier

Amazing home cooked food, one of the best dinners I’ve ever eaten, and hospitality 10/10. The view of the waterfall and location is also spectacular.

Would highly recommend staying here for a night if you do the falls
Pros:

The food was incredible homemade Sri Lankan dishes , it lives up to its name, you can literally see the waterfall from the little deck. The couple are very lovely and helpful.

Exceptional experience, amazing host family
Pros:

From the outside porch you have an excellent view of the Diyaluma waterfall, we had breakfast here and it was magical. A huge thank you to our host and his wife! When we arrived it was pouring rain so we couldn’t go anywhere for dinner, they made us an exceptional rice and curry as well as a lush breakfast the next morning. Everything tasted amazing and it was extremely kind of them to cook dinner for us as well. Our host also took us up the waterfall the next morning for an exceptional tour (we paid him extra for it), he took some amazing photos and videos of us (excellent camera skills!! 😝) and we had a great time. Would always come again!

Sehr gepflegte Unterkunft, toller Blick auf den Wasserfall bei einem sehr großzügigen und leckeren Frühstück; sehr liebenswerter Vermieter der auch die Tour zum Wasserfall begleitet und ein toller Guide ist. Nur zum empfehlen!

incredible food - dinner and breakfest, which cooked the wife. Best food we’ve had in sri lanka
the owner is also a local guide, he took is up to the diyaluma falls and told us many stories, we loved that. #dungleboy

Pros:

Очень приветливые хозяева. Хозяин водит на водопад Diyaluma. Опять, же это очень удобно - не пришлось блуждать самим, или искать проводника. Пошли мы на водопад утром (в 7 утра) - когда еще никого там не было - это был прям большой плюс. Спокойно сделали фото, спокойно посидели на вершине водопада.
