Overall was a decent stay, I don’t know if I’d pay that much again for this property though

Pros:

Host disponibilissima, avevamo prenotato la notte in ostello ma in giornata mi ha scritto dicendoci che ci aveva spostato nell’hotel. Ci ha fatto trovare anche la colazione. Abbiamo visto laurora boreale. È a mezz’ora da Studlagil canyon, ottimo posto per spezzare il viaggio verso il nord.

Posto sicuro dopo la tormenta
Pros:

L'atmosfera estremamente accogliente e confortevole. Lo staff è stato gentilissimo e sempre disponibile per ogni nostra esigenza, la mattina della partenza ci hanno anche gentilmente offerto un caffè, cosa molto gradita e apprezzata per chi conosce l’islanda. Luogo sicuro che ci ha accolti dopo una tormenta di neve veramente tosta. La chicca è il rifornimento Orkan proprio accanto, utile per delle soste strategiche.

Cons:

L’ala dell’ostello dove siamo stati accolti era molto datata e bagni e docce lasciavano a desiderare, nulla a cui pero non ci si può adattare.

Il personale è stato molto gentile, la posizione è perfetta per una visita al canyon e in generale per una pausa tra una tappa e l'altra della zona

Cons:

Arredamento delle stanze in condivisione un po' datato, non un ottimo odore dei suddetti spazi (anche quello dà l'idea di vecchiume)

Pros:

buona posizione vicino al canyon di Studlagil, staff accogliente e disponibile ad accontentare le esigenze degli ospiti. buoni spazi comuni anche se un pò da rinnovare per rendere più comodo e accogliente.

Cons:

non funzionava il riscaldamento all'interno della camera e fuori la temperatura notturna cominciava ad essere molto fredda, ma lo staff ci ha subito aiutato cambiando stanza.

Ostello tranquillo e pulito. La ragazza che ci ha accolto è stata davvero gentile fornendoci anche utili informazioni per un eventuale avvistamento dell’aurora boreale.

Cons:

La posizione della struttura non è davvero comoda e l’arredamento sarebbe da rinnovare un po’. Ma per il resto tutto preciso
