Pros:

Fantastic--wish we had another day there. Every staff member we interacted with (the front desk and restaurant staff at breakfast) was friendly, helpful, and professional. The grounds just feel nice to be in. The views of the mountains and vineyards--very nice. The breakfast was FANTASTIC and I regret that we did not get to try the restaurant for lunch or dinner because it looks good. The fitness room is well equipped (although we did not use it). We had a car--the hotel had plenty of parking space and it's a 5 minute drive from the town center. I highly recommend this place, especially if you have a car. After a couple nights in Venice, it was a perfect change of pace. Photos are the view from our room

Cons:

Without a car, the location might be less convenient. However, there is a bus stop right there. So it would only be an issue if you plan to be out after the bus schedule ends, and really the worst case would be a 30 minute walk 30 from the town center.
