Beautiful hotel in great location

Marvellous and highly recommend to anyone.
Pros:

Excellent location, easy access to all the main tourist attractions on easy walking distance.

Cons:

The bar next to our room had music on all the time but wasn’t a big problem as we were tired and at least they played nice music. If you don’t want this happen to you then maybe ask for a quiet room.

Lovely Athens 😍
Pros:

The location was amazing and the room was spacious.

Cons:

The cleaner did the bare minimum. Didnt clear glasses away, replace toiletries or toilet paper. She didnt touch the bathroom. All she did was pull the bed sheets up.

ein an sich schönes Hotel mit gravierenden Ausstattungs- und Servicemängeln
Pros:

Mein (Exekutiv-) Zimmer war groß und geschmackvoll ausgesttattet. Ein reisiger Balkon gehörte auch dazu.
Da ich morgens früh abreisen musste, erhielt ich einen zuverläsigen Weckanruf und eine kleine Frühstücksbox. Bravo!
Dennoch werde ich NIE wieder im Royalty Hotel absteigen.

Ich hatte dort eine zweite Buchung für 5 Nächte vier Tage später. Diese hatte ich im Januar 2026 gebucht und gleich bezahlt, mit der Maßgabe, dass ich den Gesamtbetrag verlieren würde, wenn die Reise nicht stattfände.
2 Wochen vor der Reise erhielt ich von Booking die Mitteilung, dass mich das Hotel nicht beherbergen könnte. Man bot mir Hilfe bei einer Alternativbuchung an. Die E-Mail war so unklar formuliert, dass ich selbst eine neue Buchung auf Booking vornahm. Da der Reisetermin kurz bevorstand, waren vergleichbare Hotels nur zu deutlich höheren Kosten zu buchen. So musste ich €150 mehr als bisher bezahlen, wobei Booking €60 dieser Mehrkosten übernahm.
Warum musste das Hotel kein Alternativangebot zu gleichen Konditionen machen, da die Überbuchung doch vom Hotel zu verantworten war? Ich hätte bei Nichterfüllung des Vertrags alles gezahlte Geld verloren, das Hotel hat keine Konsequenzen zu tragen gehabt. Alle Pflichten für den Gast, alle Rechte fürs Hotel.

Cons:

Trotz der Größe des Zimmers wurde auf für den Gast wichtige Ausstattungen verzichtet. Auch in diesem Hotel muss der Gast den Koffer auf den Boden legen, wenn er aufs Auspacken verzichten möchte (Foto). Und in der Dusche fehlt jede Ablage für Duschgel und Shampoo. Auch hier muss man die Flacons immer vom Boden aufheben (Foto 2). Man kann es mit dem Stilempfinden auch übertreiben...

Ontbijt was slecht zelfs het toastbrood en de choco proefden muf. Toaster werkte maar aan 1 zijde. koffiemachine was ronduit vuil. We zijn vanaf de eerste ochtend dan ook de andere 4 dagen ergens anders gaan ontbijten. De airco werkte niet. De minibar viel uit als je je sleutelkaart bij het verlaten van de kamer meenam, Toiletpapier hebben we twee maal moeten vragen om aan te vullen er was geen reserverol ol de kamers,
