The reception and kitchen staff were so helpful and made sure we were always taken care of while we stayed at Udaipur.
They had a map to show off the city and we're excited to hear what we had planned each day.
The breakfast was lovely with a menu to choose from, made to order and you could see into the kitchen while it was being made.
Nothing we didn't like, the stay was lovely.

The building in itself have a lot of charm, the rooms a lot of space, the architecture and materials are fantastic.
It is spotless clean.
The pool is great, breakfast very good, and staff discret but very helpful

The location is fine, it's a quick walk from the lake, and the neighborhood is quiet and safe, you enter a real bubble of peace once you set foot inside the hotel.
There was an issue with the WIFI not working for almost a half day, at the moment I needed to check in flights, but the staff provided help with their computer and printed for me.

Amazing location right in the heart of the old city, extremely comfortable rooms in a beautifully restored haveli. The swimming pool in the center courtyard is wonderful to cool down on hot days. All staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and help me plan many activities. The restaurant on the rooftop of the sister hotel right next door has delicious food at a good price and incredible 360 views of the whole Udaipur city. I hope to come back soon !

Beautiful heritage hotel that has been decorated with taste. Comfortable beds, large and modern bathroom and a swimming pool with a quirky detail that any Belgian will appreciate. The staff was also very friendly and did its very best to help.
We went during the monsoon season which comes with its difficulties in India. The first evening, there was a power outage and the wifi went out of service in the whole area for almost an entire day. Luckily we had our own mobile data.
Friendly staff, I would especially like to thank Bheru who was extremely helpful.
There is no access to the hotel by car. There is a 400 meter walk to the hotel up the hill.
Power disconnected several times for up to 1-2 hours during the day and night once I was in the shower at the night which was quite an annoying experience.

Chacun des membres du personnel a été incroyable,
L'équipe du petit déjeuner qui nous permet de prendre autant que l'on souhaite et qui est très attentive.
Le service de chambre avec une propreté impeccable...
La piscine, l'emplacement... Les chambres sont très belles avec des lits confortables...
Bref, je pourrais continuer les éloges sur des pages entières pour notre séjour nous avons été très à l'aise et été confrontés à des personnes qui connaissent leurs métiers !

Good location and food was great
This hotel is just fabulous and we cannot recommend it more!! Everything from the hotel design, the interior and the staff was just perfect.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. On arrival we were welcomed with a fresh lime juice which was just what we needed after a long day of travelling. Then they kindly offered us a room upgrade which was just amazing. The rooms are so clean and beautifully decorated !!
Throughout our stay the staff were so helpful with giving us advice on what to do in the area and organising Tuk Tuk to get us to our bus location.
Breakfast here is very tasty !!
When leaving we were kindly gifted with a beautiful photo of what the Haveli looked like prior to it being renovated and I was given two beautiful bangles to take home.

We had an excellent stay at Madri Retreat in Udaipur. The location was exceptional - just 5 minutes from nearly everything we wanted to see and do in the city. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. We were even upgraded on arrival, which made the experience even better. Outstanding value for the price, and we’d gladly stay here again.
Lost power for a bit due to thunderstorms, but that’s no big deal!
