Pros:

Bushalte is onderaan de trap van de accommodatie, keuken beschikbaar, gratis snacks, HiLife schuin tegenover. Aardige en behulpzame host. Veel restaurants in het dorpje, wel allemaal hotpot en je moet reserveren bij de meeste.

Cons:

Kier boven de muur en onder de deur waardoor je geluiden vanuit de andere kamers (zoals gesnurk) ook kon horen, hierdoor konden ook een paar insecten binnenkomen.

A nourishing retreat away from home.
Pros:

This BnB is quite new, with an air-conditioner (multi-functional) and de-humidifier in room. I was thoughtfully re-assigned to another room with ensuite washroom as there were large groups visiting for both nights of my stay which helped to segment spaces a little. The BnB is sited within a wooden structure, which adds to its charm and also means that noise at least in the main accommodation space (with 3 separate rooms - a 4-roomer, and 2 single rooms, & a shared living room area) can travel as doors have a gap from the floor. Guests are able to use a shared kitchen, and washing machine in the yard. Instant noodles and beverages (which i understand are produced in-house) are made available for guests, which is a thoughtful gesture. I was also gifted a huge bunch of plums from the tree in the yard. The washrooms are very new and sparkly clean.

Hi-life (which is 3 minutes across by foot) is a life-saver, and there are at least 2 breakfast shops within 5 minutes of walking. Most dinner options comprise hotpot restaurants and these too are similarly accessible (a short walk away).

It was a treat to enjoy the view each morning - whether of mountain tea scapes shrouded in mist or otherwise. Thank you for having me!

Cons:

NA. Guests that have a fear of bugs might like to beware (I encountered a flock of winged creatures on a particularly rainy night as they were attracted to light); although this is to be expected in a setting/location like this.

Great accommodation when visiting Alishan.
Pros:

Perfect location, the bus stop is minutes away, convenience stores and restaurants are also nearby. The owner is very kind and helpful. The rooms are comfortable with great sunrise views. Near to walking trails.

Bon choix à Fanlu!
Pros:

Établissement bien tenu à proximité de la ligne de bus vers la forêt d’Alishan. Les lits sont confortables et le personnel a eu la gentillesse de m’attendre et de m’accueillir en dehors des heures prévues.

Pros:

I gave overall 9 out of 10 coz of the location, otherwise, for the price this is five stars 10/10. From the spacious room, the cleanliness, the attentive service, the magnificent view and sunrise in the morning and the shared kitchen with all amenities, it was all excellent. It's a bit of a hike (34 kms) if you are staying here to go to the Alishan National Park but due to limited options in the park, you have to find alternate accommodation.
