Pros:

The entire hotel staff is amazing, super helpful and pleasant.
The rooms are very clean and spacious.
The facilities have all you need for a vacation (2 pools, volley area, trampoline, ping pong table and more)
The beach is great.
The live music band that played was good.
Bakari is the best barman ever and makes great cocktails!

Cons:

The food is good, not great.

Pros:

Le confort du lieu, les prestations, l’emplacement, la vue mer

Cons:

Trop de démarchage dès qu’on met le pied sur la plage il faudrait voir à minimiser ça car ça ne donne pas envie d’aller à la plage
Et également le fait (même si elles sont balayées quotidiennement) qu’il y ait beaucoup d’algues sur la plage ce qui gâche un peu la vision paradisiaque de la plage

Great resort...food was the standout.
Pros:

The hotel puts you in the holiday mood instantly. Well appointed rooms, well-maintained lawns, activities, 2 pools.

Food was the standout...we took the half board and it was the best decision cos food was great, flavourful, new options each day, you could even swap to pizza (which our teens were very happy about), not all dinners were buffet styled but in spite of the curtailed a la carte there was enough variety and each dish came well plated and good portions...also there aren't any close by restaurant options either so venturing out at night is not the wisest. They have live music on alternative days and one night they put all their tables around the pool for a bbq night and it was the most gorgeous set up which most other hotels would normally have charged additional. The service is great.

We went during the football fever ie world Cup and although there are no TVs in the rooms they set up a screening room and it was yet another hang out area.

Cons:

The sandy beach was really nice but due to the tides it isn't always possible to swim in the shallow sea. Also yr always approached by locals trying to sell you something, but that's across all beaches that we visited around.

Driving distances to other sights are far and due to road conditions, the road is the major part of where you spend most of yr time on tours if you choose to base yrself in one place and take tours like we did. But coming back to the hotel each day felt great especially looking forward to the evening meal.

The best hotel we have ever stayed in
Pros:

Everything with Queen was wonderful. Especially the staff, which fixed everything we wanted in a perfect manner. They were very polite and respectful. We also really appreciated that the hotel was clean all the time. The food was also amazing, and we always had the opportunity to choose to either try something new, or to eat a familiar dish. No matter which we chose, they were very good.

WOW – Willkommen im Paradies!
Pros:

Uns hat einfach alles gefallen. Die ruhige Lage in Matemwe, fernab des Massentourismus, vermittelt das authentische Sansibar-Gefühl. Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön angelegt, sehr gepflegt und von viel Grün umgeben.

Besonders hervorzuheben sind das unglaublich freundliche und herzliche Personal, die komfortablen Zimmer, die beiden Pools sowie das abwechslungsreiche und sehr leckere Essen. Auch der Fitness- und Yogabereich mit der tollen Aussicht hat uns begeistert.

Ein unvergesslicher Moment war die Geburtstagsüberraschung für meine Freundin mit Kuchen, Wein und einer Gesangseinlage des Teams. Man fühlt sich hier nicht wie ein Gast, sondern wirklich willkommen.

Dazu kommen die traumhaften weißen Sandstrände, die Ruhe, der beeindruckende Sternenhimmel und die entspannte „Pole Pole“-Mentalität. Für uns war dies die Unterkunft, die das Lebensgefühl Sansibars am besten verkörpert hat.

Cons:

Wenn überhaupt, dann nur, dass wir gerne länger geblieben wären. Die Unterkunft, das Personal, das Essen und die gesamte Atmosphäre haben unsere Erwartungen übertroffen.

Pros:

El hotel es muy bonito, cómodo y con zonas comunes muy agradables.
Paso directo a la playa. Comida buena y bien de precio (aunque te recomiendo que explores los restaurantes locales) y hacen actividades para los huéspedes.

Peaceful, but not boring
Pros:

Beautiful boutique hotel on the beach in a stunning garden. Very friendly, family atmosphere, kind and helpful staff. Food is very delicious. The room was big and the bed was comfortable. Very quiet area, fantastic for sleeping and relaxing. Two pools, yoga for free, daily activities, gym and sports playground are prepared for guests. Check out at 11:00a.m. My stay was a great experience.

Cons:

Nothing, even the low and high tide is interesting and something different.

Pros:

The staff was super helpful and friendly. We arrived to check in quite late and requested breakfast to go before normal breakfast time and they arranged for it without a hitch.
The location and facilities are also great - amazing restaurant, very pretty pool and garden area, access to perfect beach (though keep in mind that on this side of the island low tide basically makes the beach useless for swimming and you can do reef walks instead).
Manager is also very friendly and made a point to speak to every guest.
The room was clean and comfortable and spacious. Everything you need.

We also had lunch at the restaurant. The food was very very good, but definitely on the pricier side.

Cons:

Only point is the AC is operated with the key and on hot days it takes a while to really cool the whole room, so keep in mind that you’ll need to stay in the room for a while before it cools down.

Wunderschöner entspannender Urlaub!
Pros:

Wunderschöne Unterkunft! Tolles Abendessen und sehr leckere Drinks. Das Personal ist super freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Strand und Lage sind auch super

Cons:

Das ist jetzt schon meckern auf hohen niveau aber das Frühstück war jetzt nicht berauschend aber auch nicht schlecht.
Und man muss etwas vorsichtig sein im Wasser am Strand da es dort viele Seeigel gibt, aber man kann sich schuhe ausleihen.
