Maruba inn

Lovely view and a big room that is very clean. Great to have a hot shower which is rare (though low water pressure). The bed is comfy, the view is incredible and I loved the balcony. I slept really well here, it’s not noisy at all. Stayed for 7 nights in the end because I enjoyed Samosir and the homestay despite initially planning to stay a lot shorter.

Stunning views, large room and bathroom, lovely balcony, clean bed and floors, kettle provided, lovely friendly staff and great food in the restaurant. The room and the view felt really private and relaxing.

The room was very clean, with a wonderful view over the lake. The bed was very comfortable and there was warm water which was great. Good value!

Très bon séjour de 4 nuits au Maruba Inn. L’accueil est chaleureux et attentionné : l’équipe s’est occupée de nos différentes réservations de transferts ainsi que de la location du scooter sur place, ce qui a vraiment facilité mon séjour.
La chambre était propre et confortable, avec une vue magnifique. Le petit-déjeuner offre un grand choix et le restaurant de l’hôtel est également très bon.
L’emplacement est idéal, à proximité de plusieurs restaurants et des principaux endroits à visiter. Une très bonne adresse que je recommande sans hésiter !

I really enjoy my stay!
Good size of room, with an electric kettle, very comfortable bed, big window facing the lake, hot water, great WiFi speed.
Access to the lake, where it’s not getting deep right away, so it’s really nice.
It’s only 5-10 mins walk from cafes and shops. And Maruba’s restaurant is really great too, I love their guacamole and grilled fish.
It was my third hotel in Tuktuk and out of those would definitely come back here!

The Host Ita organized all transports there an back and motorbikes and hat the best food on the whole island

Lovely family, food and the rooms with lakeview were great.

The family who run the property are so nice and will do what ever they can to make sure you have a nice stay.

Everything was perfect! A great place, great location and everything was organised for us when ever we needed.

The room was clean, with all the commodities you can expect for the price you pay. Eventually I got really sick and the staff was extremely helpful, they took me to the doctor and took care of me, I will always be thankful.
