I booked two rooms for September 11–15. Suddenly, while I was in Kosovo one evening, the hotel informed me they couldn't accommodate me—despite the confirmed reservation—claiming there was an electrical fault. I called the hotel, explained that I couldn't find an alternative, and insisted they had to take care of me. They got back to me saying they would host me for the first night and then arrange a hotel of the same standard for the remainder of the stay. The next morning, just before I set off for the hotel, they informed me they couldn't take me in after all. They told me that to avoid losing money, I should cancel immediately—even though the cancellation deadline had passed—and promised to approve it free of charge. I went ahead with the cancellation, which was processed immediately, and began looking for alternatives; everything was fully booked, and I was a nervous wreck. My Albanian guide came to my aid and tried to reason with the hotel staff, but to no avail. Finally, towards evening, we found a 4-star hotel—much further away and at double the price of my original booking at the Residence. What was truly shocking, however, was that while I was searching, the hotel that had cancelled on me was offering the exact same rooms via Booking.com—but at more than double the original price. This proved the cancellation wasn't due to a technical fault, but was purely a money grab. My trip turned from a delight into an absolute nightmare. How can a hotel shirk its responsibility to its customers like this? How can they show not a shred of concern or consideration? How can they lie to a customer's face so brazenly? A hotel devoid of a single ounce of humanity. Reliability, care, and sensitivity—a hotel like this doesn't deserve to be on the Booking list; I’ve been a long-time customer, and I’ve never experienced anything like this before.

Einiges ist heruntergekommen und war defekt. Außerdem ließ die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig, wir haben einige Haare im Hotelzimmer gefunden. Außerdem war es sehr hellhörig.
Struttura totalmente scorretta. Nonostante l'orario di arrivo notturno fosse concordato da giorni, siamo stati respinti con la scusa di una finta mancanza di elettricità (l'hotel era visibilmente illuminato). Ci hanno costretti a fare un tour forzato di altre strutture terze di qualità pessima e insalubre, tentando persino una doppia fatturazione. Non cascateci: è un modus operandi ripetitivo. Assistenza clienti deludente.
Soggiorno mai usufruito. Ci hanno rimbalzato da un hotel all'altro nel cuore della notte (prima Hotel Boka, poi Hotel Brillant), facendoci spendere soldi in taxi per ritrovarci in stanze sporche e con un forte odore di fogna. Un sistema di overbooking selvaggio mascherato da falsi problemi tecnici. Se cercate un posto dove dormire, cercate altrove. Se cercate un'avventura notturna stressante in mezzo alla strada, è l'hotel perfetto.
La struttura è ben organizzata, moderna, pulita e dotata di tutti i comfort. La colazione è buona e varia, con opzioni sia dolci che salate. Abbiamo riscontrato qualche problema al momento del pagamento: l'importo finale non corrispondeva a quello indicato su Booking perché ci hanno applicato delle tasse locali, anche se il prezzo è stato modificato più volte. Un consiglio basato sulla nostra esperienza: in Albania pagate sempre in contanti, perché le commissioni e la gestione delle tasse per i pagamenti con carta sono molto alte.
La posizione non era delle migliori, soprattutto per il rientro la sera dato che eravamo due ragazze. A Tirana c'è davvero molta scelta: questa struttura è un'ottima soluzione per chi deve appoggiarsi alle cliniche nelle vicinanze, ma non è l'ideale per visitare il centro città.

The hotel was very clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming. We especially appreciated that they prepared an omelet for my mother on request, even though it didn’t seem to be on the breakfast menu. That small gesture made us feel truly cared for. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the location was convenient.

Very friendly staff and quick response to messages. Location is good if you need something close to the bus station but it is not close to the "must visit" places.
The transportation arrangements did not work as smoothly as expected. The location was good for what we needed but it might not be the most ideal one depending on your plans.
