Looked run down from the outside but actually nice and comfortable inside. It had everything I need.
Pros:

Location was near a conference centre that I was attending a course on. The shower was fantastic and a comfortable bed.
I liked that I could just leave the key in a key box as we left.

Cons:

Building looked run down outside. Had to go down to a pub to ask to be let into the hotel.

Excellent option if Glasgow hotels are busy
Pros:

Newly refurbished, excellent staff - thanks Kimberley! and great welcoming bar and locals on ground floor. High quality accommodation, parking and 20 mins to Glasgow centre on easy route.

Not to the standard expected for the price
Pros:

There was nothing that stood out to like - maybe plenty of space in the car park but since that was a public one it can hardly be a positive.

Cons:

The signage and access to the place is abysmal - you have to be in the car park behind the building before you can find the entrance - which is not staffed and the contact number not answered!

The window blinds failed to keep the light out - had to hang a towel up to get any kind of darkness at night!

The shower was very hard to regulate the temperature - how was either full on or full off!

No food or drink - to be told to go out any buy your own and they would let you eat in the bar - if you could find it, is not acceptable.

Hotel looks good and near by stores.
Pros:

rooms are looks good and comfortable.

Cons:

Descriptions not matching with hotel, in booking.com they shown us about breakfast but in the hotel no breakfast.
make sure all the details are verified before they publish.

rather disappointing on arrival to find no lift working or catering on site

Room great, staff brilliant. Shame about the access.
Pros:

The room was great. Not long refurbished I would say. Had everything I needed. Carol went above and beyond to make my stay a good one.

Cons:

The stairs! I am a disabled crutch user and was totally dismayed to see that the entrance is up 1.5 flights of stairs. Then the room was up another floor.
Add to that once I had negotiated the stairs the door was locked and I had to go all the way to the pub on the front of the building to get my key, then climb all those stairs again to get into my room. Not a problem if you are able bodied! Make sure you check out all the photos as beer seems to take precedence over the one of the entrance! Also the lift is out of order and it didn’t say that on Booking.com

Disappointed
Pros:

I didn't have breakfast as this was not included

Cons:

I am disabled and the room was on the 2nd floor. The lift wasn't working. I paid for 3 nights and left after one night. I was visiting my husband who was in the golden jubilee and had to get another hotel to stay. Really disappointed with the hotel.
