Moderna. La vista desde los balcones. El personal súper atento. El dueño ofreciéndonos un viaje en lancha para conocer brevemente la costa. Las empleadas del front desk super atentas, en especial Amanda. El encargado del bar que estaba siempre muy bien predispuesto.

Not great choices. All other hotels in Albania much more choices with hot food, juices etc.
We reserved a junior suite. The room was so small that not much room for our open luggage. If the room was a junior suite, I would hate to see a regular room. The Japanes toilet which we have at home did not work and there was no tioilet paper. Asked to have it fixed when we went out. It was not. When we returned someone came to the roomand pushed in the plug, Had a similar problem with AC. It was not cooling and we asked to have it fixed. They said key had to be inserted - it was. They came up again and showed us how the thermostat had to be turned on. Every time we left the room we had to turn the thermostat back on. All in all not a great property. The hotel does not have its own beach and had tp walk 15 minutes and pay 20E for a lounger chair and umbrella at a private beach. Now in Himare at St Nicolas Less expensive for a room which is nicer and only 30E more for a junior suite which is a junior suite. Has its own beach and pool an 3 restaurants. I would not reccomend Vale hotel to anyone and find Himari much better than Sarande
The parking hours by the hotel was inconvenient (1AM ~5:40PM)
Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Everything was perfect, and we really enjoyed our time at the hotel. The staff at the reception were also very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. They greeted us warmly and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived.

The only small issue was the curtain, which let in quite a lot of sunlight in the morning.
Location….we walked from the ferry terminal with our luggage and was also central for bars and restaurants. Although on the busy promenade we could not hear anything from our rooms.

From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the elegance and attention to detail. The rooms are beautifully designed, exceptionally comfortable, and impeccably clean, with modern bathrooms and an impressive collection of contemporary art throughout the hotel. Every element feels carefully considered, creating a sophisticated yet wonderfully welcoming atmosphere.
After hours of driving from Tirana, on our very first visit to Albania, we received the warmest possible welcome, greeting us with refreshments and delicious ice cream, a thoughtful gesture that immediately made us feel at home.
What truly sets Hotel Vale apart, is its extraordinary hospitality. The owner, Adil, generously organized a complimentary boat trip for hotel guests, taking us to spectacular swimming spots that are impossible to appreciate fully from land. It was one of the highlights of our stay.
And the thoughtful touches never stopped. Returning from the beach, we were welcomed with freshly cut fruit or a perfectly chilled glass of white wine. Nothing felt forced or formal, every gesture came with genuine warmth, kindness, and an incredible attention to the guest experience.
A very special thank you to Adil, the owner; Redi, the manager, always ready with an excellent recommendation for how to spend the day; Dina, our wonderful receptionist with the most beautiful smile; sweet Elio; and, above all, Uron, whose charm and charisma truly light up every space. He made our breakfasts an absolute pleasure, with the best cappuccino in the morning and the most delicious desserts in the afternoon.

Everything! A warm friendly welcome, with complimentary icecream, fruit and wine! Every staff member was absolutely lovely, breakfast was varied each morning and delicious, the room and terrace superb, with fabulous views over the sea, and up and down the promenade! The room was completely sound proof, so couldn't hear any of the hustle and bustle from the street.

The hotel is located on the promenade which can be positive or negative depending on the experience you’re looking for but for us it was nice because everything was within a short walk. The staff are quite nice and they try to make you very comfortable. We were offered a free boat tour around the coast, we also received some white wine with fruits during our stay and free ice cream upon check-in! The beds are comfortable too.
For me personally the breakfast didn’t have enough variety so I was a bit disappointed with the selection but the food that was there tasted good. I also didn’t like that the cleaning staff would turn off the air conditioning after we left it on to come back to a cooler room. I think the prices are a bit on the higher end, somewhat expensive, considering there is no private beach, no swimming pool and no spa.

Een fantastische kamer met direct zeezicht en een prachtig terras met bubbelbad. Ook de badkamer was bijzonder aangenaam, met een douche die eveneens uitzicht op zee bood. De airconditioning was bovendien zeer stil, wat zorgde voor een heerlijke nachtrust.
De kamer beschikte over veel kastruimte en was modern, smaakvol en comfortabel ingericht.
Het hotel heeft daarnaast een eigen koffiebar/ijssalon, die ook dienst doet als bar, in een zeer aangenaam en sfeervol kader.
Maar bovenal verdient het personeel een speciale vermelding: supervriendelijk, attent en ontzettend behulpzaam. Geen vraag was te veel en op alles kregen we een enthousiast en duidelijk antwoord.
Een extra bijzondere service was de parking voor onze huurauto. De wagen werd netjes onder het hotel geparkeerd en kwam zelfs gepoetst weer tevoorschijn. Wie heeft zo'n service al meegemaakt? Ongezien!
I enjoyed everything in this hotel: comfort, location and excellent service! I highly recommend this place for vacation and will gladly be back next time!
