Incredible stay, perfect location, best staff, great breakfast!
Pros:

This hotel was excellent! I have no negative reviews. We had an issue with the city parking (no fault of the hotel) and they not only offered up many solutions but took incredible care to make sure this didn’t affect our trip. Each and every one of the staff members we interacted with went out of their way for us. The service is filled with small touches that made this hotel stay stand out as the best one we had in our 2 week trip in Albania. The breakfast was amazing, the hotel is renovated, beautiful, modern and spacious. You could not get a better location right in the heart of the promenade, while still being in a quieter area so you can sleep well.
I specifically want to shout out Ami, Redi, and Rustem. They were just amazing!!!

Great location, incredible staff
Pros:

Vale is located directly on the promenade, close to all the action in Saranda. The staff are incredibly sweet and attentive -- very responsive in person or over whatsapp whenever anything was needed. The manager really wants to create an excellent experience for all guests. The space is clean, modern. There's good variety at breakfast. The manager handled us with SO much care when we had a few issues, and really went above and beyond to make our stay really special. They're very generous with their guests -- we got gelato, fruit trays, sweet exit gifts which showed just how thoughtful they really are. We spent the 2nd half of our trip in a room with a view, which I think is the only way to do this hotel so make sure you're facing the water.

Cons:

- Our first room was in the basic double room, which faces an alleyway in the back.
- Can be difficult if you have a car you plan to use everyday. The promenade has strict hours, so cars can't exit/enter between 6p-1a (sometimes only until 11p), which means we were often blocked from entering if we came back within those hours. Your options then are to circle for parking or use a paid lot a few blocks away. The manager, staff, and owner all were really helpful in smoothing this out for us by sometimes offering to park the car for us or talk to the policeman to try to let us through. We wish we had this information earlier, but Vale did their best to make it easier.

Das unglaublich nette Personal machte den Aufenthalt unvergesslich!
Pros:

Die Lage direkt an der Promenade war perfekt, mit schalldichten Fenstern konnte man prima schlafen. Das Beste war aber das Personal: unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Cons:

Recht teuer, bedenkt man, dass es weder Pool noch Fitnessstudio gibt

Meticulously Maintained and Luxurious Home Base for Exploring Southern Albania
Pros:

First of all the entire staff is out of this world. They were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They surprised us with treats and wine in our room on numerous occasions. The building itself is well thought out and meticulously maintained. The breakfast spread in the morning is superb with a huge variety including eggs, pastries, fruit, yogurt, charcuterie, and excellent coffee from the coffee bar. The location is very central and is right on the promenade of Sarande so many bars, restaurants and tour operators are withing walking distance.

Cons:

Because the hotel is located on the promenade, if you have a rental car, parking could be an issue. The streets nearby are very crowded and there is limited parking. While there is parking at the hotel, the police close the promenade to cars from 6pm (sometimes 5pm) to 5am. If you arrive outside of those times, you'll likely have to pay for parking at a nearby private lot for about 1000 Lek. We were in the shoulder season and getting in and out of the area / finding parking was challenging; I imagine in the high season it would be impossible. If you don't have a rental car, you can access most everything you need by foot, so it is a trade off. One last point: this is not your Albanian riviera beachfront destination. While there is technically a beach across the street, it is small and not particularly enticing. This is a jumping off point with walk-able bars, restaurants, cafes and tour operators.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a lovely location, with great staff.
Pros:

Lovely, modern hotel in a perfect location overlooking the harbour. The staff were exceptionally helpful and gracious. They helped us access the property and recommended an excellent restaurant. The manager was helpful in every way possible.
Thank you VERY MUCH.

Cons:

It was initially difficult to access the property. A policeman guarding the enterence to the promenade refused to let us drive to the hotel even though we told him we were guests there. The manager later came to assist us gain entrance.

Ein sehr zu empfehlendes Hotel in Saranda 👌
Pros:

Uns hat der nette, freundliche Empfang sehr gefreut. Wir konnten sicher auf dem Grundstück parken.
Zur Begrüßung bekamen wir beide erstmal eine Kugel Eis vom hoteleigenen Café.
Im Zimmer dann erwartete uns eine Überraschung - ein geschmücktes Zimmer ☺️ (wir hatten Hochzeitstag) . Am Abend verwöhnte uns das Team mit zwei Gläsern Wein und einer Platte Obst - auf dem Zimmer ☺️.

Zum Frühstück gab es nicht nur eine täglich wechselnde, reichliche, leckere Auswahl, an Selbsgebackenem, sondern auch frisch gepressten Orangensaft👌

Alles ist sehr sehr sauber und neuwertig!

Die Lage ist sehr gut, direkt an der Strandpromenade.
Gute Restaurants und Geschäfte in direkter Nähe.
