Sambatra Beach Lodge

The stay was exceptional, I enjoyed it so much. The food was out of this world. The bungalows are right at the beach. When you wake up in the morning you feel like in paradise. Valerie and Vincent make you feel like you belong to their family. The whole staff of the lodge is so kind and helpful. I only can say thank you from the heart.

Il Lodge è direttamente sulla spiaggia con la sua vegetazione incantevole. Arredato in maniera semplice e con ottimo gusto. Il proprietario ti dà tutte le informazioni utili e ti intrattiene con racconti interessanti. Tutto lo staff ti fa sentire come in famiglia.

Très bel endroit, calme et magnifique. L'accueil et chaleureux et très convivial. Le personnel très sympathique et disponible. Bravo au couple et merci pour cet agréable séjour.

Wir waren im Paradies! Die Lodge ist wunderschön und sehr gepflegt. Das Personal ist unglaublich aufmerksam, freundlich und schaut, dass es einem gut geht. Unser Bungalow war quasi direkt am Strand, auf der Terrasse zwei bequeme Liegen. Das Essen ist frisch zubereitet und extrem lecker.
Diese kleine Insel ist wirklich ein Paradies, drumherum türkisfarbenes Wasser geschützt von einem Riff (es ist kein tiefes Wasser) und das Inselinnere eine wahre Überraschung - unbedingt umherlaufen - grün, grün, grün, Reisfelder und kleine Berge und Schluchten, was man ihr vom Strand aus nicht ansieht. Maison Blanche - ein Leuchtturm - von hier hat man einen tollen Blick über die gesamte kleine Insel. EIN TRAUM - wir kommen wieder.

Sambatra is HEAVEN! Secluded, gorgeous beach front setting…I thought the high tide might come into my bungalow it was so close to the water lol! But really, the family who own Sambatra live on-site, are genuine, kind and if Ile Aux Nattes isn’t perfect enough, they make even better. The food was mouthwatering and served by the kindest, smiling staff willing to do anything to make your stay comfy and enjoyable. You can walk around the entire island and barely see a soul except some fishermen and little kids playing in the surf or walking to and from school.

THERE IS WIFI!!!! And it’s good.

Vincent and his wife have created a breath taking oasis in a stunning location. My experience was a whole other level of joy thanks to Vincent's personalised approach to his guests. From discussing faith, to advice about how to really experience the island, to sitting around a fire listening to guitar playing and singing, my one night here created memories to last forever!
Vincent goes above and beyond to ensure visitors feel welcomed and supported during their stay - even for someone like me who was literally only there for ONE night (because they were fully booked after that for my dates) Thank you Sambatra - you truly live up to your name!! (HAPPY)

The owner is a very cool and nice guy and he himself and his team help you with everything you need, we stayed there for many days and they made us feel like we were family, Sambatra Hotel is located in an amazing and most beautiful place in Saint Marie, highly recommend going there😎

L’accueil, le personnel, la propreté des chambres et la qualité des repas sur place. Bref, que du positif. Un petit paradis. Allez y les yeux fermés.

Fantastic place which has it all! Clean bungalows right by the beach with sunset every night. Nothing more to ask for the accommodation. Apart from that the owner and the staff were very welcoming and friendly, always ready to help us out. Weather it was loaning us binoculars to watch the Wales, fetching the canoe for us or just checking in on us, they were always happy and helpful. Me and my girlfriend had the best stay this far in Madagascar!
