Very disappointed
Cons:

My privacy wasn’t respected.
There is a very long walk and many stairs from the main road to this property. Especially with luggage (but it’s Positano so that was expected). However, because of the difficult access, a friend came to help me carry my luggage to the main road. The host opened my room door without knocking repeatedly yelling “Get out get out no extra guests” without giving me a chance to explain. Although the door was unlocked, I still expected a knock before anyone entered. Even after I told him they were only there to help with my luggage, he refused to allow it and insisted on carrying the bags to the lobby himself. I let him know that I don’t need help to the lobby. I need help the whole way because my bags are heavy and he insisted my friend had to leave. (Which he did) . The host carried my bags from the room to the lobby, which took him a very long time because he’s very elderly. When it could’ve been done much quicker. He would rather struggle to bring them to the lobby than to Let me get assistance. After that long encounter I had to carry my luggage the rest of the way by myself which is about 10 mins with stairs and two suitcases. After paying nearly $800 for three days, I found this treatment very disappointing and ended up leaving a day early. On top of that the WiFi wasn’t working half the time I was there. I didn’t enjoy my stay at all.

Pros:

Muy bien ubicado aunque si tiene escaleras que subir para llegar (como todo el pueblo) super bonito y limpio, los dueños muy amables. Recomendado, único contra es que tienen curfew a la 1:30.

Autentisk. Tilbaketrukket. Sjarmerende.
Pros:

Autentisk sted. Gammelt og veldig hyggelig. Veldig god utsikt og romantisk å lese bok på terrassen på kvelden. Personalet som jobber der var så kjærlige, imøtekommende og alltid glade når de så meg. Jeg vil bo her neste gang jeg kommer.

Wir hatten einen rundum perfekten Aufenthalt und würden sofort wiederkommen!
Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir unglaublich herzlich empfangen. Der Gastgeber und das gesamte Team waren jederzeit freundlich, aufmerksam und haben dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns wie zu Hause gefühlt haben. Besonders schön war, dass man nicht nur Gast war, sondern auch immer wieder nette Gespräche mit den Gastgebern führen konnte.
Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist außergewöhnlich gut. Unser Zimmer wurde sogar ohne Aufpreis upgegradet, und viele kleine Aufmerksamkeiten haben unseren Aufenthalt noch besonderer gemacht. Das Frühstück wurde jeden Morgen aufs Zimmer gebracht, und auch dabei war der Service stets zuverlässig und herzlich.
Ein absolutes Highlight ist die Aussicht. Für uns war es die schönste Aussicht auf Positano, die man sich wünschen kann. Allein dafür lohnt sich die Unterkunft schon.
Auch das Frühstück war sehr gut und hat den Tag perfekt starten lassen.

Beautiful view - maybe too rustic
Pros:

The placement was perfect. Just far enough from the big crowds and touristy center, but still close enough to go there when you wanted. And the view - wow. Truly amazing!
The hotel itself is very charming and rustic.

Cons:

The shower didn’t work in the sense that it was either cold or boiling hot - with no possibility to regulate. When I tried to tell the owner, he gave excuses and didn’t recognise there was a problem, even though he didn’t come and check it and fix it.
Don’t buy the breakfast there, it was not worth it.
It felt weird that we had to give back the key every time you left the property (even during the stay)…

Location was perfect a short walk to everything resteraunts shops beach

Cons:

Building is a bit outdated but all the hotels in Positano are the same so no complaints. Water is not provided you have to pay for bottles from the mini fridge in the lobby which is the first time I’ve experienced water not being provided for free.

Pros:

Gorgeous view! I had an upgrade in my room with a king size bed, room has enough space for 3 big luggages. I was pleasantly surprised.

Carlos was so sweet, we called him grandpa and felt so safe in this location. Conveniently located in Fornillo, bus stop in the corner near all restaurants. Most importantly VERY little steps to get to our hotel. You can walk ALL the way down to the beach those steps are pretty lengthy but at least is right downstairs vs having to walk across town. Will definitely recommend 🫶🏻🤍
