Elegance, charm & comfort
Pros:

The stunning old grand architecture with sandstone exterior, vast sized rooms, high ceilings & large windows.

Styled well & feels elegant with warm, friendly & sincere staff. I had a huge room close to all the good stuff, great eating & bars plus the markets in Salamanca. Easy walking distance to the CBD & a delicious breakfast which was included.A very reasonable price for all of this also. An added bonus was catering to special dietary requirements (Vegan).

Can't fault the place, why would you stay at some boring cookie cutter modern sterile place when this beautiful charming space with all its character is an option.

Pros:

Rooms space is spacious, clean, beds were comfortable and clean. Bathroom amenities were adequate with shower 🚿
Breakfast was simple Aussie spread.
Reception staff double as waitress, she is helpful and friendly.

Cons:

If only there is flexible shower head with hose for younger children and short grandma.
Wish there was luggage console for placing luggage for aging visitors.
Only 3 car park space at the back of hotel, when we came in late, we have to look for car park at available road side park.
Luggage will have to lug on stairs to reach into hotel reception and if you are lucky to have rooms allocated on ground floor, that's all the stair you have.

Excellent staff, good location…… need to lean into the heritage style in the rooms

You’ve got to love heritage buildings….. I personally love them. Downstairs was great, staff were exceptional
