Great location and rooms had plenty of space.

There was only one chair for a double room. With multiple people staying it was difficult to have people sitting to talk.

A beautiful historic building to stay in, close to the city but quiet enough to be relaxing.
Pros:

Spacious room and lovely breakfast included. Enjoyed the wine bar on site as a space to relax and the library room was gorgeous. Although were in the middle of town it was very quiet and we could walk to plenty of options for dinner etc.

Cons:

The parking was a tight squeeze although we did appreciate the availability of limited off street parking in a city location.

Historic hotel with character, charm and warmth
Pros:

"Just a continental breakfast" was excellent: meats, cheeses, vegies, fruits, fresh local yogurt, toast, spreads, and croissants that didn't look that good but were really lovely. Corportate room was just as it appeared in picture. The hot water was fast and the pressure strong. Kettle and mini fridge in room. An historic and well maintained building. The airport SkyBus stop (#4) is on the same block. The walk to the wharf area, public bus terminal, and Salamanca market is less than 15 minutes. The three women who manage the place were all just great to talk with and were helpful with things to do and places to go. I like hotels with character and this is one of them. AC and heat worked fine and you could open the window. Oh, and they have a smal bar with Tasmanian wines, spirits and beers. And happy hour! You can enjoy your drink in the public rooms that are filled with comfortable furnishings. I love a club chair.

Cons:

Nothing. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. There is no lift, but that is clearly stated and there are rooms on the ground floor, which you might be able to request.

Fantastic staff location and breakfast. Second time staying need I say more!

For a contental breakfast it was very nice, staff kept everything fresh and full no hassle.

Cons:

Car park was tight and under beds had a little rubbish. But that is common.

Great location
Pros:

The location was excellent. Beds were comfortable and it seemed clean. Breakfast was also nice.

Cons:

Seemed disorganised at times. I messaged them through booking app to let them know our arrival would be after reception closed, then reiterated a few days before in a check in survey they sent, then they messaged again on the day. Our keys were available on arrival as per instructions, but not sure why we had to communicate our arrival time 3 separate times. In the check in survey I also ordered bubbles & chocolate on arrival, but never saw this, and didn't follow up on check-in as obviously reception was closed.
