Sigiriya Palace View

We had a very pleasant stay here. The atmosphere was warm and family-like, and the accommodation was clean and well maintained. The food was excellent and clearly prepared with a lot of care.

The hosts were extremely welcoming and attentive, and the host was also happy to accommodate special requests, which made the stay feel very personal and comfortable. They were very engaged in helping us arrange trips and activities, offering a great variety of excursions at very reasonable prices. They were always keen to make sure we had a good experience.

A lovely place with welcoming hosts, excellent food, and very good value for money. We would happily stay here again.

Nous avons logé à l'étage avec vue sur le rocher du lion. Vue magnifique. Un espace terrasse avec canapé pour se reposer et une table pour prendre le petit déjeuner ou le dîner préparé par la.maitresse de maison. Surya et son épouse sont très accueillants et très arrangeants. Surya possède son tuktuk et nous a beaucoup aidé pour l'organisation du séjour et trouvé des chauffeurs pour nos trajets. Super séjour ! Je recommande vivement.

Eine sehr gemütliche und sehr saubere Unterkunft mit toller Aussicht. Wir bekamen sehr viele hilfreiche Informationen, außerdem organisierte unser Gastgeber unsere gewünschten Touren nach Polonnaruwa und Kandy für gute Konditionen. Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr lecker und landestypisch. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

The host Suriya and his wife are really humble, kind people who will always help you out with any questions/information.
The location is surrounded by kind of a jungle so you might have few mosquito but otherwise it is definitely value for money.

El personal es muy amable, estuvieron muy pendientes de nosotras. Nos dejaron su cocina para hacer una tortilla de patatas para la final del mundial. Tienen un jardín fantástico con unas vistas impresionantes a Lion Rock. Las camas cuentas con mosquiteras y buen aire acondicionado. El baño es muy amplio, no tenían secador pero nos dejaron uno.

Zeer mooi verblijf met een zeer uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet.

Suriya e sua moglie ci hanno trattato molto bene dal primo momento. Lui disponibilissimo ad organizzarci le varie gite e molto oneste sui prezzi. La posizione è molto bella con vista sul lion’s rock e vicina a vari localini.

Fantastic place, lovely view of lion Rock, hammocks and lovely garden, great value and hosts that look after you.

Suryia vous propose toutes les activités incontournables des environs et se rend très disponible avec son Tuktuk pour vous faire vivre le meilleur séjour possible !
J’ai ainsi pu découvrir Dambulla, Polonnaruwa et même faire le sunrise face au Lion’s Rock!
Ils proposent également de vous faire à manger et c’est délicieux ! :)
Je recommande vivement, j’ai passé un excellent moment !
Petit plus pour la vue directement sur Lion’s Rock depuis la terrasse :)

Lovely people, very clean room, the view is amazing.

The hosts Suriya and his lovely wife will go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The food they provide is lovely and his wife is a very good cook. The view of the palace from the property is amazing and to wake up to this every morning makes the stay very special. They also offer other services, we took the safari he offered and it was incredible and a very reasonable price. From the moment we arrived late at night they made us feel so welcome and took us in as if we were apart of the family. I’ve never felt so looked after at a Homestay before. The rooms were really clean (the cleanest we’ve had since travelling for a few months) and the mosquitoes nets were really great to keep us safe. Highly recommend staying here.

It was walking distance within the Sigiriya rock and the bus station. We could see the rock from the balcony as well.
The place was very clean, spacious, and quiet. Recommend!

Big, clean room and bathroom with lovely garden with hammocks and a view of the lion rock to chill in. Breakfast was extensive and delicious! The owners were super accommodating and have plenty of day trips to offer if you’re interested. 5-10 minute walk to nearest restaurants.

Mr Suriya is the kindest guy you will find here in Sigiriya or maybe in the whole of Sr Lanka :)
Mr. Surya and Ms. Suriya, both are exceptionally great when it comes to hospitality and welcoming.
They made sure everything was on time and clean.
The best part is he has a tuk tuk so if you want to travel to any scenic areas, he can take you.

Der Aufenthalt im Sigiriya Palace View war echt klasse. Die einheimische junge Familie ist sehr zuvorkommend und aufgeschlossen. Der Hausherr hat viele Tipps für Unternehmungen und Ausflüge, da sollte man sich einfach das passenden für einen selbst raussuchen. Ein absoluter Vorteil der Unterkunft ist das hauseigene Tuktuk. Der Hausherr fährt für einen fairen Preis zu jedem Ort und wartet sogar für den Rücktransport (Transport Hin-Zurück nach Dambulla ~ 5000 Rupien).
Auch gibt es Frühstück/Lunch/Dinner je nach Wunsch auf dem Balkon mit Blick auf dem Lion's Rock für 1600-2000 Rupien.
Also für uns eine absolute Empfehlung!

Ils se sont montrés aux petits soins en organisant les déplacements en tuktuk / voiture et en nous conseillant pour visiter les alentours. Les repas préparés sur place sont délicieux et la vue sur le Lion’s Rock superbe. Chambres très propre avec air conditionné
