The cooked breakfast was out of this world and worth waiting until 10am to get it. The bed room was large with comfortable arm chairs and great views.
Confusing instructions about the timing of breakfast. I was told no cooked food before 10am because that was when the chef arrived only to find there was cooked food available at 7.30am. The layout of the building is a little confusing and it takes time to learn which way to turn to find your bedroom
The bed was comfy.
We've stayed at the bank house many times before. But this last time was really bad. Room was dirty, shower tray hadn't been cleaned, window blind was broken, so couldnt open it. On check in, staff didnt know where the room was. And on check out, the staff got aggressive trying to get me to pay again even though we had only payed the day before! Was a poor end to a poor stay, won't be returning.
Comfortable, clean ,large room . Very good price.
The breakfast was rushed. There wasn't much on offer, no toast with breakfast ,tea very weak , waitress put breakfast down then disappeared I didn't see her for tomato sauce , nobody came to see if everything was alright .no suger for husband's rice kripsies only suger cubes .
Very friendly and engaging team. lovely size rooms and great food at dinner and breakfast.
Better blind/curtains for the bathroom and the tea/coffee niche en route to the bathroom. Did feel exposed to the street once or twice!
Comfy bed
Spacious room
Good location
No allocated parking (no discounts for nearby)
No shower in room
Breakfast, wrong items and poor coffee limited range and timings
Bar staff rude and closed bar at 10.30- not 11 as advertised
Not value for money
Room missing pictures and a tassimo machine
Its position next to the river, and located in the old part of the town.
The parking arrangements. The app that covers the surrounding area never works easily. Also one of our party was informed by the app that no parking was available, and had to travel some distance to find parking.
Insufficient cooling fans in the bedrooms.
Breakfast arrangements. There is a small buffet breakfast available till 10am and then a much better breakfast from a menu with waiter service after 10am.This isn’t explained when checking in.
Location was good, staff were friendly
My room Burson, was on a noisy corridor and you could here everyone coming a going, fixing the floor boards would help, sat on the toilet which felt like it was going to come off the wall soon, and I’m a very slight build, the shower head was dirty, not allowing water to flow out properly, and finally the curtains needed to be a foot wider. breakfast was nice, but limited choice, to be fair I was told it was a nice place but I’m not sure you can justify £135 per night
I didn't have breakfast but everything else was surpurb
Lovely small hotel, lovely and bijou.
Restaurant was wonderful - to much on the menu we wanted to try
Unfortunately we stayed on one of the hottest days ever in the UK, made it an unpleasant nights sleep with just a fan in the room
We enjoyed staying at Bank House very much. The only down was the breakfast, it was really disappointing that there was not a freshly cooked breakfast, which we have had before and were looking forward to. A fresh fruit salad would also have been nice, rather than chunks of fruit.

Atmosphere of the hotel
Very friendly staff. Very nice breakfast offered each morning and the main meals in the evening were excellent. Seafood used in all the dishes we had was very fresh and tasty. The location in the historic area of the city next to the water made a perfect setting to enjoy a sundowner and watch the fishing boats returning from their day out to sea. Also very quiet at night for a restfull sleep.
Breakfast didn't start early enough for business travellers
Hotel je speciální a to vším, vnímavý člověk pochopí tu jedinečnost, tu originalitu, autentičnost. Byli jsme nadšeni. 100%.
Těšíme se na příště. Srdcová záležitost. Okolí nás také uchvátilo. King’s Lynn je bezva!
Nice staff, atmosphere, food, and lovely location. Nice spacious room and bathroom. Very clean and comfortable.
In the room some refurb work was needed. Stained drawers top, probably due to boiling water spill, and the shower enclosure looked a bit shabby in places. The easy chair seat was a bit sunk.
Excellent views over the river. Very comfy bed. And good location.
very noisy room directly over the beer garden.
