Excellent séjour, le calme, la restauration et la piscine étaient très agréables.
Pros:

Repas du soir et petit déjeuner ont été excellents. La situation au calme en pleine campagne avec vue sur la vallée sont très appréciables.

Cons:

Le chemin d'accès est un peu surprenant, on se demande où l'on va. Quelques panneaux supplémentaires indiquant la direction seraient réconfortants.

Unser 2. mal im Velani, schöne ruhige abgelegene Hotelanlage in den Bergen, Zimmer schön groß und sauber, Frühstück ist sehr gut und umfangreich, das Restaurant ist ebenfalls empfehlungswert, der Ausblick von der Anlage ist grandios, es gibt einen schönen kleinen gepflegten Swimmingpool, ebenfalls mit Talblick, die Anlage selbst beherbergt zahlreiche Pferde und andere Tiere Parkplatz gibt es kostenfrei auf der Anlage, für alle Personen die mit dem Auto anreisen: von der befestigten Straße bis zur Anlage sind es etwas 2 km über eine sehr löchrige Schotterpiste

Ruhe & Entspannung in den Bergen
Pros:

Die Apartments sind sehr schön eingerichtet und gemütlich. Der Ausblick ist traumhaft. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Auch im Restaurant sitzt man sehr gut und hat einen fantastischen Ausblick. Auch das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Lage ist super ruhig, so dass man wirklich entspannen kann (bis auf die Zikaden, aber für die kann ja niemand was und man gewöhnt sich daran).

Cons:

Die Anlage ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und überall sieht man unfertige Bereiche, die nach Baustelle aussehen. Die Dusche am Pool war sehr dreckig und hat die Nutzung nicht möglich gemacht und auch die liegen waren zum Teil beschädigt. Die Handtücher waren sehr hart. Das Frühstück könnte vielseitiger sein. Und der Weg zum Hotel ist wirklich abenteuerlich.

Restaurant de l’hôtel cher par rapport au autre Taverna visite en Crète pendant 1 mois et il n’y a rien autour pour aller manger .
Par contre la nourriture était bonne
Petite piscine non ouverte pendant notre séjour
Il manque une marche à la piscine pour un accès facile aux mobilité réduites .
Une personne de notre groupe n’a pu se baigner car elle ne peut descendre par l’échelle et il manquait une marche pour descendre de la piscine .
Route de 2 km désagréable à faire pour s’y rendre. Un peu de rafraîchissement de la route serait nécessaire.

The only positive aspect of this place is the staff, who were friendly and polite. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end.
The property advertises itself as a 3-star hotel, but in reality, it barely meets the standards of a run-down motel. What you find on-site is completely different from the polished photos shown on Booking:
1. Cleanliness Issues & Mold: Cobwebs in the corners, ants, and visible mold above the door and window in the room.
2. Deplorable Bathroom Conditions: Mold on the floor and walls, spiders, and a dirty, yellowed bathtub. The showerhead is ancient, covered in heavy limescale and mold, while the drain is filthy and broken.
3. Worn-Out Towels: The towels have been overwashed to the point of becoming harsh and rough, literally like sandpaper.
4. Lack of Maintenance: Everything is outdated and neglected, giving the impression that the location hasn't been renovated in years.
5. Neglected Pool & Grounds: The outdoor pool is dirty with visible mold. The pathways throughout the property are unkempt and damaged.
6. Unpleasant Odors: Horses are kept on-site, and there is a persistent, strong smell of stables in the restaurant area, making dining very unpleasant.
7. Terrible Access Road: The road leading to the property (as well as the path inside) is completely ruined, filled with loose rocks and deep potholes. Driving the final 1.5 km takes around 15 minutes if you want to avoid damaging your car.
Regrettably, we were forced to look for alternative accommodation for the last 4 days of our trip just to actually enjoy our vacation. The conditions provided fall far short of basic hygiene and comfort standards. Would not recommend!

Ideal für Reitaufenthalte oder Ausfahrten ins Hochgebirge.
Pros:

Sehr schön gelegen. Wenn sie etwas anderes unternehmen wollen als Wandern oder Reiten ist es gut ein Auto dabei zu haben. Der ältere Herr im Restaurantservice ist nicht nur ein Sprachgenie sonder erheitert jeden Aufenthalt.

Pleasant stay with exceptional authentic food and amazing views
Pros:

The hotel has a very relaxing environment amidst the greenery and surrounding hills. The restaurant's food is truly amazing, we have enjoyed every meal, also because of the amazing views over the valley. The menu offers lots of authentic Cretan dishes for affordable prices. Manolis and Sabine are excellent hosts, they even checked us in at 2am in the morning.

Cons:

The road towards the hotel is a bit bumpy, you should take your time driving up and down. But it is definitely doable and somehow adds to the charm and quietness of the hotel.

Décevant !
Pros:

Le logement était propre et confortable, bien que vieillot. L' environnement au calme! La vue superbe.

Cons:

J ai trouvé très décevant, par rapport aux commentaires que j 'avais pu lire. L accueil pas très aimable, aucune explication sur le domaine.
L' endroit manque d entretien, du mobilier cassé ou délabré traîne un peu partout , les végétaux mal entretenu aussi. Dommage car il y a vraiment de quoi en faire un lieu vraiment sympathique au vu du potentiel mais il y a un gros manque d' investissement.
Sans parler du restaurant qui est pourtant bien noté, c est le pire restaurant que nous ayons fait en Crète. Les plats sont clairement congelés, comme le pain. Le petit déjeuner est pas mal mais avec ce même pain surgelé et croissants congelés ! Le même tous les matins.
Il y a pourtant un four à pain, du matériel de cuisson extérieur qui ne sont malheureusement jamais utilisé. Très dommage
Heureusement il a une super taverne familiale juste en bas au village où nous y avons mangé tous les autres soir.
Peut être y t il eu un changement de propriétaire récemment ?

Une véritable parenthèse de douceur et de fraîcheur
Pros:

Le cadre est tout simplement magnifique. Niché en pleine nature, l'établissement offre une vue panoramique exceptionnelle et une atmosphère empreinte de calme et de sérénité.

Les chambres, aménagées dans de charmants bungalows, sont à la fois élégantes, confortables et parfaitement équipées. La piscine est superbe et le restaurant mérite également le détour, la cuisine y est excellente.

Le petit-déjeuner est un véritable coup de cœur. Oubliez les buffets classiques : chaque plat est préparé à la minute avec des produits frais et de qualité, pour un résultat aussi soigné que délicieux. Une belle surprise qui fait toute la différence.

C'est une véritable parenthèse de douceur et de fraîcheur, d'autant plus appréciable que l'altitude offre des températures légèrement plus agréables que dans les environs.

Par contre la route menant à cet écrin est en effet très caillouteuses et pleines de trous, il faut vraiment rouler au pas.
