The Clayton Experience
Pros:

We arrived to a lovely friendly welcome. The room was really big with lots of room for putting your clothes etc. Since the weather was really hot it was a blessing to have air conditioning. Went for a swim in the pool. The breakfast was exceptional with lots of choices.

Cons:

Having to pay to get a swimming cap and having to share the pool with children getting swimming lessons.

Lovely hotel, lovely staffs
Pros:

Clayton has always been a nice hotel, I was able to swim, saunna etc, I could charge my electric car too which made life so easy.

Klimaanlage

Cons:

Gläser bei Bar schmutzig, Pool nur mit Badehaube gegen Gebühr verwendbar, keine Liegen oder ähnliches, hatten Hotel deshalb eigentlich gebucht, permanent wo schmutzig, Sessel mit Krümmel etc

Galway break.
Pros:

Our family room was spacious and comfortable. Staff from the front desk, through the bar/restaurant, swimming pool extremely mannered, easy to approach, very helpful and welcoming. We loved the access to the swimming pool and sauna (you need a swimming hat).
Food was just outstanding in taste and portions were more than generous, we would recommend going in very hungry especially if you want the 2 course meal. Again waitresses despite busy times were above and beyond helpful. We loved our continental breakfast too, so much to choose from,good quality and very relaxed atmosphere. The hotel was close to Salthill which was great and close to the city centre.

Cons:

After upgrading for an additional cost to the room with a balcony we were a bit disappointed that the balcony was facing a busy road and industrial estate. Plus the balcony(the glass and the floor) was not cleaned for what seemed a long time. The mat for the bath was not cleaned either. We were too tired after the journey,heat,swim and big meal to ask the staff to sort it out especially as they were so kind. There was no table and chairs for outside,which with the nice weather was missed, especially as you could watch the sunset. As the hotel has a swimming pool facilities it should have at least a small clothes drying rack to be able to dry swimming gear.
Overall we had a nice stay and would go back in the future

Pros:

The staff so helpful the cleaning staff really couldn't do enough for us. The hotel was clean and enjoyed using the swimming pool. Loved the recyclable. bins if you wanted to clear your room prior to go to a sleep. The outside of the hotel is so well kept.

Cons:

The water pressure was very low and sometimes like flushing a toilet was a problem. The hotel staff said while we were there and we seen work men fixing it.

Very overpriced for what it is. Good location. Spacious room.

Cons:

Bathroom was a little grubby, especially the bath. It had a green mark on it. Girl on desk not overly friendly or welcoming. Very overpriced for one night not including breakfast!
