Pros:

Our apartment was very clean and on the quieter side of the building so little street noise. It stayed cool in a very hot week in Lucerne. There was no air con but there were two large fans if needed. We lowered the large outside blinds each day as we left the apartment and they kept the room cool.

Cons:

The apartment had a very odd lay out. There was a door in the lounge that we thought was a store cupboard but then realised it was the neighbouring apartment. The door was locked so it wasn't a security issue- but it was a noise issue. The door had the sound insulating qualities of a sheet of paper! So when the occupants got up at 6.30am to put the tv on & rattle every piece of crockery in their apartment we heard it loud and clear.

Exceptionally good apart from having no aircon
Pros:

Lovely clean modern fully equipped apartment, comfortable bed, good comms with owners. Bus stop outside to connect you to all public transport, or alternatively a 20 min walk down to the lakeside attractions

Cons:

For stays during a Swiss summer, all rooms need aircon. At time of booking I missed the fact it never. For £250 per night I just asssumed it would have as a modern stlyish apartment.

Great appartment in Luzern
Pros:

Spacious appartement on a nice location. Noise from street was almost zero due to great isolation.

Spacious, convenient, and relatively affordable

Great location for the cost (relative to Lucerne hotel prices); Clean, comfortable, and spacious; The layout was perfect for our family, with two separate sleeping areas; Contactless check-in process was easy

10 a.m. checkout was a bit early, especially after being out the night before to watch the Swiss team win their World Cup match

Nice modern flat. 20 min walk from station.
Pros:

Clean, modern flat. Excellent shower. Good sofa bed in lounge. Good sound insulation seeing it was on a main road. Co-op right opposite which was convenient.

Cons:

No bedside table, lamp or powerpoint by bed. Could not turn off main light from bed - switch did not work.

Don’t recommend, stay in a proper hotel
Pros:

Location was decent, quite central, housekeeping staff were quite friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious

Cons:

Check in took a full hour, the number we were given was for the wrong property so we had to call to activate our virtual check in. Would not recommend. There was no shutter in 1 of the rooms so light came in the morning at 5 am so we could not sleep. Charging ports were awkwardly placed in the room.

Highly recommend Liv Suites if visiting Lucerne.

Very clean, secure and modern apartment close to transport links and the city centre.
Decent sized bedroom and living area with fully equipped kitchen.
