Value for money
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay and were very impressed with the overall experience.

The breakfast was excellent, with a great range of food and beverages, and it was outstanding value for money.

We would especially like to acknowledge Mandeera at reception. Mandeera was incredibly helpful, friendly, and went above and beyond our expectations to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. The level of customer service provided made a real difference to our experience.

Based on our stay, I would definitely recommend Park Central Rotorua to my friends and family.

Cons:

One small area for improvement relates to the lock box. The area around the lock box was quite dark, especially at night, which made it difficult to see and enter the access code. Installing a flashlight, sensor light, or small floodlight focused on the lock box would make access much easier and more convenient for guests arriving after dark.

You get waht you pay for, was good enough for a few nights just to sleep.
Pros:

I liked the location. The room was a comfortable and i liked that the tv was a good size and bathroom was good size too not too pokey.

Cons:

I didnt like the noise from other people staying there outside the room and also the doors opening and closing so probably needs better soundproofing maybe somehow. The rooms could be a little brighter as they seemed dark and cold feeling which makes it feel dirty but i dont think it was it seemed ok especially for the price.

Loved our stay, love the beautiful kind and gentle staff, BEST LOCATION
Pros:

Location is amazing ! Super easy to get to all the attractions. Literally 5 minute drive from main town, everything is SO CLOSE BY ! 2 minute drive the mall, BEST LOCATION ! Loved our room being on the bottom floor opposite the pool and the sliding glass door - easy to access outside. We did not have breakfast , but the breakfast dining area was HUGE! Really cool area. Staff are super incredible ! Very caring, well presented , calm, you have amazing staff and management.


Just going back to that question where it asked “you stated preference for a quiet room” - ahhhh no we did not 😂
I could hear guests talking going past the main door. I could hear a child crying above us at night time, while watching tv. - It DID NOT bother us one bit, as we actually like noise and liked hearing other people around us, but the question stated if it was it a quiet room, no I would disagree with that, but we also DID NOT book for a quiet room, so I’m sure if you book for a quiet room, you will indeed get a quiet room lol.

Cons:

Whilst the main door being locked, there was a lot of play in the door. When we did not swipe the key properly, (it obviously remained locked) you could open the door a few inches, and there’s a slight gap in the edge of the frame on the right hand side (when you’re standing inside the room).

The TV froze & lagged a lot, could not get TV1 or TV2 on it, not a biggie for our family as we had laptop etc, but if you’re a family / person that likes to watch tv at night I would ask front desk for some help.

Pros:

This motel was in a convenient location not too far from Rotorua city. The room was comfy, the toilet and shower were good, with a beautiful up-dated mirror (electric), clean, good firm bed, clean sheets, good pillows. Suited our needs for an overnight stay.

Cons:

The clothes cupboard was in the bathroom, which is strange - maybe this could be redesigned to put the cupboard door on the other side of the wall in the bedroom. That's about all to say at this stage.

Wonderful
Pros:

The host was exceptional. Took our luggage up stairs for us

Cons:

I would have liked a two bedroom room downstairs as I had my aging dad with me who got a bit breathless going up the stairs.
An elevator would be perfect.
