Worth the expense, Quality stay.
Pros:

The stay at Palais De Pondicherry was excellent. The staff were very courteous and helpful. They were available round the clock for any assistance and ensured that we were given utmost importance. I would recommend staying at this location to anyone wishing to visit Pondicherry. The location was very convenient and easily connecting it to Promenade beach, Aurobindo Ashram and other churches all within walking distance.

Cons:

The complimentary breakfast could be a little more innovative. It's the same menu and same items on offer every day. Maybe also include some fruits and veg. Overall the quality of the food was good, but would like to have a little variety of items for breakfast.

The location was very good, near to rock beach and the property was neat and clean.

Cons:

1 out of 2 ACs had issues which was resolved the next day by eating away our 2 hours time. 2ndly the water flow in shower was very low, in taps it was just ok.
