During our stay, a serious safety incident occurred when the bathroom glass door suddenly detached and shattered, scattering glass across the bathroom and causing cuts. The extent to which the glass shattered was alarming, and the situation could easily have resulted in a much more serious injury.
What was most disappointing was the response. When we reported the incident, there was very little concern shown for our wellbeing despite the fact that someone had been injured. Instead of focusing on guest safety and welfare, the discussion quickly turned to how the door had been used.
While we were moved to another room, the interaction felt impersonal and unsympathetic given the circumstances. Following the room change, the host was largely absent for the remainder of our stay. There was no meaningful follow-up, no check-in to see whether we were recovering from the incident, and no effort to ensure that we felt supported after what had been a distressing experience. We were essentially left to ourselves for the rest of the stay.
The incident itself raises concerns about the safety and maintenance standards of the property. A bathroom fixture should not fail in a way that creates such a risk to guests, and when an accident does occur, guest welfare should be the immediate priority.
Given the exceptionally high rating of this property on Booking.com, I arrived with expectations of not only a well-maintained accommodation but also a high standard of hospitality, professionalism, and guest care. While the property may have positive aspects, my experience fell well short of those expectations. Accidents can happen anywhere, but the way they are handled defines the quality of the hospitality. Unfortunately, the lack of empathy, concern, and support following a potentially dangerous incident left a lasting negative impression on our stay.

Whenever i’ll come to Mykonos i will make sure i’ll book it as it has all the comforts that i’m looking for.
Great location as it is very close to all the popular beaches kalo livadi and Elia.
Swimming pool area is amazing as well.
