Located in a beautiful part of the city.
Pros:

You walk through the beautiful old facade into a modern, friendly hotel. Rooms are lovely, comfortable and sound proof.
Location is excellent for the theatre.

So nice & relaxing….great way to treat ourselves
Pros:

Fabulous time - just enough to be outside CBD but everything still close. Staff were wonderful & lounge bar/dining staff/area was great & engaging. Housekeeping was wonderful. Gym had basics that you need & pool/spa a nice treat. Will only stay here when next trip to Melbourne

It is safe, clean, perfect location for all my hospital appointments.
Pros:

Location, restaurant food delicious, staff attentive , helpful and lovely. Rooms are immaculate. Bathrooms functional well equipped and scrupulously clean.

Nice clean hotel close to the theatre but I wont be going back.
Pros:

I loved the proximity to the Princess Theatre.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

I requested a quiet room on a higher level and not near the lifts of service doors. That was when I booked the room a few months ago. They replied and said while they can't promise they would try to meet my request. So disappointed to arrive on Thursday 10th Sept and be put in a room on the lowest floor and directly opposite the lifts and in an alcove with another room facing onto ours. We were woken at 3am by the garbage truck picking up skips. I actually thought it must have been 7am and construction work had started close by. Didnt get back to sleep after that so my night was not what you would call restful or quiet. I found that very disappointing especially for the price we paid.

Pros:

It was a nice stay but it is not 5 star by any stretch. The room we got for our wedding ceremony was the loft and we wanted to treat ourselves. It was dark and dusty and there were marks of candle wax on the floor. We told the front staff about it and they dismissed it.

Très bel établissement avec ses très bons atouts et aussi ses faiblesses.
Pros:

Le petit déjeuner était complet mais rien d'exceptionnel pour un établissement de ce standing et de ce prix.
La piscine et le spa sont très bien et agréables.

Cons:

Le fait que l'hôtel ne dispose pas d'un service de conciergerie n'est pas top bien que le personnel de la réception était très avenant mais malheureusement pas à la hauteur d'un concierge dédié.

Pros:

The Hotel is great in many ways - great location, nice and quiet, excellent views. The staff were excellent - very very helpful. We will definitlely staying here again on our next visit to Melbourne.

Cons:

We just thought the room was a bit small so will upgrade on our next visit
