Kaku Studio Apartment Ikebukuro

Très bien placé, certes il faut marcher pour accéder à la gare mais cette dernière permet vraiment d'accéder facilement à une vaste majorité des espaces de Tokyo. L'hôte à été très réactive et surtout elle nous a conseillé énormément de bons plans et de délicieux restaurants

The owner was super lovely and gave instructions on how to get to the apartment from the airport as well as personal recommendations based on what I like. The apartment was clean and had everything I needed, it might be small but was more than enough room for one person. The location is super close to the Ikebukuro station which made getting to basically anywhere in Tokyo fairly easy. Would recommend!

I still think the host's help is extremely valuable. Without her help we couldn't make it to book many places around like restaurant and we couldn't visit many hidden spots. So Koharu made our stay much more interesting.

Before I left, I really appreciated how quick and thoughtful the host was in answering my various questions and recommending appropriate clothing for the local climate. 💛

We loved our stay here! Super spacious and clean :) In a nice residential area so nice and peaceful but still super easy to get around. Unlike the busy Ikebukuro area, this place was peaceful, which I really appreciated. I recommend it to anyone who prefers a quiet environment. There’s also a supermarket near the station.

J'ai trouvé cet apartment vraiment génial. L'hôte était très calme et compréhensif. L'expérience a été formidable. Ça aurait été bien d'avoir un sèche-linge ou un endroit où étendre le linge après la lessive, mais il y a une laverie automatique à proximité, donc ça n'a posé aucun problème. J'y retournerais sans hésiter!

Koharu (owner) was very helpful throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. The accommodation is in a calm area, yet still only about 15 minutes from Ikebukuro Station, so the location was very convenient. We also loved the projector and enjoyed watching YouTube from bed.

The host (Koharu) was absolutely amazing and very helpful, even before I arrived in Japan. She sent me personal recommendations, useful maps, check-in instructions, and even helped me with questions about luggage delivery and local restaurants. The communication was excellent throughout the whole stay, and she even offered to keep helping after check-out.

The room itself was small, but it had everything I needed. It was exactly as shown in the photos and exactly what I had booked, so there was no false advertising at all. I was very happy with it.

I also really enjoyed exploring Ikebukuro. I went on daily walks around the area, and Ikebukuro Station was easy to reach on foot in about 20 minutes. I would definitely love to come back next year.

My stay at Koharu's place has been very good experience. I got very good advices about what to do in Tokyo and suggestions for not touristic places to visit. I think the biggest value is what the host can provide in terms of information. Ikebukuro is a well connected area and one of the top stations in Tokyo.
