Pros:

studio dans le superbe quartier d'ikebukuro, le logement est fidèle aux photos et un grand merci à l'hote qui est très disponible, elle a prit le temps de nous écouter et de répondre à nos attentes

Perfect stay in Ikebukuro with an outstanding host (Koharu).
Pros:

The host (Koharu) was absolutely amazing and very helpful, even before I arrived in Japan. She sent me personal recommendations, useful maps, check-in instructions, and even helped me with questions about luggage delivery and local restaurants. The communication was excellent throughout the whole stay, and she even offered to keep helping after check-out.

The room itself was small, but it had everything I needed. It was exactly as shown in the photos and exactly what I had booked, so there was no false advertising at all. I was very happy with it.

I also really enjoyed exploring Ikebukuro. I went on daily walks around the area, and Ikebukuro Station was easy to reach on foot in about 20 minutes. I would definitely love to come back next year.

Cons:

There was nothing I really disliked. The room is small, but that was clear from the description and exactly what I booked and wanted.

Cozy room well located in Ikebukuro area
Pros:

My stay at Koharu's place has been very good experience. I got very good advices about what to do in Tokyo and suggestions for not touristic places to visit. I think the biggest value is what the host can provide in terms of information. Ikebukuro is a well connected area and one of the top stations in Tokyo.

Pros:

I had a fantastic stay here. The room was small but had everything I needed. It was great to be in a quieter area of Tokyo, but the Ikebukuro train station was a ~13 minute walk away, making it very easy to get around. Koharu was a great and welcoming host, she left me to my own devices and was great to talk with her. I highly recommend this stay for anyone traveling to Tokyo.

Gran estancia en Ikebukuro
Pros:

Localización excelente a 15 minutos a pie de la estación de Ikebukuro. Más que correcto para alojarse unos días

Cons:

El tamaño no era lo más cómodo. Estuvimos bien pero al tener muchas maletas se hace algo pequeño.
Si eso no te importa, un lugar ideal.

La dueña/encargada fue sumamente amable y encantadora. Siempre estuvo muy presente, predispuesta a ayudar y atenta a que nuestra estadía en Tokio fuera lo más cómoda y agradable posible.

Cons:

El departamento es bastante pequeño y, en comparación con otros alojamientos en los que nos hospedamos durante nuestro viaje por Japón, la limpieza podría mejorar un poco. Notamos algo de polvo en la lámpara y detrás de la cama, y el borde del inodoro no estaba completamente limpio. Aun así, la estadía fue correcta y el lugar cumplió.

Odeur d'humidité et présence de moisissures.

Terrifiant. Je ne sais pas comment il y a autant d'avis positifs. C'est invraisemblable. Je vous explique.
J'arrive à l'appartement et la chambre 102 est au sous-sol. Une fenêtre est bien présente mais elle située au niveau du sol de la rue. Quand j'ai ouvert la porte, il y avait une odeur de cave et d'humidité extrême. C'est petit, il fait chaud. Il y a des traces d'humidité et de moisissures. Je suis asthmatique en plus.

Même après avoir mis la climatisation, l'odeur était toujours présente. Les draps étaient humides et mes affaires également. L'odeur commençaient à les recouvrir. Peut-être qu'il y a un problème et ce n'est pas de la faute de l'hôte ? Détrompez-vous. Elle était parfaitement au courant. Il y avait un 2 déshumidificateurs, un prise qui diffusait de bonnes odeurs et aussi, un autre objet qui diffusait des odeurs. C'est à ce moment que j'ai compris. Certains avis en parlent. Peut-être que c'est à cause de la localisation que c'est très humide ? J'ai croisé deux habitants dont une personne au troisième étage, elle m'a dit que la bâtiment était très humide. Il y avait de fortes odeurs chez elle.

Bref, j'ai demandé un remboursement et je l'ai eu, mais j'ai du prendre un autre hôtel en urgence pour 5 nuits. À la base, j'avais payé 377€. J'ai payé un APA Hotel à plus de 700€ (129 000 yens). J'ai payé un taxi aussi. J'ai explosé mon forfait téléphonique car j'ai du appeler Booking depuis le Japon. Ça m'a coûté 150 euros.

Certes, l'hôte m'a remboursé et a tenté de justifier les soucis d'humidité par le fait que ce soit l'été. Alors déjà, ce n'était pas l'été. De plus, elle était bien au courant mais alors bien au courant de ces problèmes. Je rappel : 2 déshumidificateurs / 2 sprays d'odeurs. Elle m'a remboursé directement aussi. C'est une honte.

vorgeld sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und reibungslos. die unterkunft erfüllt ihren zweck. das viertel ist angenehm und der tägliche spaziergang zum bahnhof ikebukuro jedes mal mit kleinen schönen entdeckungen verbunden gewesen… der combini mit sitzgelegenheit, der gutausgestattete supermarkt, der gemüsehändler. vielen dank!

Pros:

The room was very nice and the check-in and checkout process was super easy. The host is very active to ensure you have a pleasant stay. She even sent us a local event that was happening while we were staying in the room.

Cons:

The location can be a bit far especially if you have a long day of walking. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from Ikebukuro station so be mindful of that when planning out your days.
