Makassar is a fun town but the plastic pollution in the harbour is really disappointing.
Pros:

Price+ location. Very friendly staff.

Cons:

/\ air conditioning means non-smoking rooms still smelt smoky. Aircon leaked too

We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel in Makassar. Everything was exactly as expected — the room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing.

The location was also convenient, and after long travels around Indonesia it was nice to stay in a place where everything worked properly and smoothly. We really appreciated the hospitality and good service during our stay.

Nice old building. Good location for restaurants, massage, cafes bars.and foreshore.
Helpful staff

Cons:

Water pressure and shower head both need attention.
Some other basic maintenance needed. For short stay,ok.

Fijn hotel op strategische locatie, vlakbij fort Rotterdam en diverse eetgelegenheden.
Pros:

De service was subliem. We hadden problemen met de kraan en dat werd binnen 5 minuten opgelost. Het ontbijt was goed en gevarieerd. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Bed was lekker en kamer was brandschoon. Zeep en Shampoo is van bijzonder goede kwaliteit .

Cons:

Internet was niet constant. Viel vaak uit.

Fantastic! The room was amazing with a great view, and it was cleaned every day – thank you to the cleaning staff! Breakfast was great, and so was the staff! The same goes for reception and the doorman! Thank you so much!

The location is good.

Cons:

When we arrived all looked ok, but on the second day at midday we had no water. We asked at the reception and were told, there is maintainance going on and in maybe 1 hour there will be water again. This went on til 10.00 pm, when we went to bed without a shower, no toilet to use and no water to brush the teeth.
We left the next morning at 6.00am with no word for apology.
If I were the owner of d'prima hotel, I would fire the manager, because he destroyed the reputation of my hotel.
