The bed was comfortable. The access to a full kitchen was useful. No keys to handle, only keyboard codes everywhere.
We were so disappointed by the place that we came back home after one night there. The cleanliness was a serious issue. The carpet was covered by stains and clearly it hasn't been cleaned for a long time behind the heating system and under the bed. Even some big objects like a candy or a ring could be found under the bed.
Another major issue was a constant quite loud humming sound coming from the heating system (in summer). This was frankly disturbing at night.
A possible safety issue. In theory, the room windows is an access to emergency exit stairs but the windows in screwed in by the AC box. I doubt this would pass a firefighter inspection.

The location, available parking, and clean facilities
We were very pleased with the location; it is situated in a quiet neighborhood that is neither too central nor too remote, about 2.5 kilometers from Parliament Hill, allowing us to easily walk back and forth. Having free parking available was a huge advantage, and even though we didn't meet the hosts in person, they were always prompt, polite, and extremely helpful in answering our questions through Booking. As a guesthouse, the property offers nice shared areas, particularly a very stylishly decorated, bright, and beautiful living room, along with a kitchen equipped with basic essentials. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay that exceeded expectations in terms of value for money.
Overall, we had a wonderful and comfortable stay, but as constructive feedback for areas of improvement, the complimentary toiletries section could use some revision, as there was only hand soap in the washroom and just shampoo in the tub. For a complete experience, items such as a small toothpaste, body wash, conditioner, or individual soap bars could be added. Additionally, only one bath towel was provided per person; while it is manageable for a short stay, a separate hand towel is always necessary for hygiene. Finally, the fabric of the bed sheets was quite heat-trapping and warm, so upgrading to more breathable, cotton-based materials would improve sleeping comfort. We are sharing these details purely as constructive feedback, and overall we were very happy with our stay.

My code to my door didn’t work, I contacted her and it took 3 hours until I got a response. It was almost midnight by the time I was able to get in my room. A lot of money spent just for me to barely spend time in it. The response time needs to be quicker, I feel let down by that.

Alguns quarteirões perto do alojamento têm consumo de droga bastante visível na rua. Não é perigoso, mas pode ser uma situação delicada com crianças, por exemplo.

Absolutely filthy. We had to leave our room the night of check-in after a long day and didn’t not sleep there. Saw it when we first came in and thought maybe we can surpass it for the night but after a long long day, we just cant get comfortable on how dirty it was. Our room did not match the cleanliness of the pictures at all. Carpet was disgusting and dust everywhere. There were also markings on our comforter. Such a shame as customer service is good.
