Categories

Cleanliness
9.5
Multiple guests describe rooms as clean and 'impeccable'; isolated issues noted (empty soap/shampoo, half-drunk water, one sofa bed not made). Overall cleanliness is very good with occasional small lapses.
Service
9.6
Staff repeatedly praised as helpful and friendly (several mentions by name), though a few reviews mention indifferent or poorly trained staff. Overall service is a strong positive.
Location
9.8
Consistently highlighted as central and walkable to the cathedral, train station and riverside; excellent location for sightseeing. Some notes about limited car access/parking difficulty, but location itself is outstanding.
Room Quality
9.4
Rooms described as new, modern, spacious and comfortable (including large TVs and family rooms). Minor negatives include sofa bed not prepared in one booking and occasional missing amenities in-room.
Amenities
8.4
Hotel offers pool and gym and secure parking; pool described as small by some. Missing items reported by guests (no minibar, no hairdryer in some rooms, ironing limited). Good facilities but some limitations.
Value for Money
8.4
Mixed signals: many find the hotel excellent for location and quality, but several guests felt price/offerings didn’t fully match expectations (costly breakfast, perceived cost-cutting). Generally fair value with noted exceptions.
Food and Beverage
8.5
Breakfast received mixed feedback (limited variety, too sweet, and considered expensive by some), while the on-site restaurant and service earned positive mentions.
Overall Experience
10
Predominantly very positive overall: many 'fantastic', 'highly recommend' and 'excellent' comments, with guests praising staff, cleanliness and location. Strong overall satisfaction despite a few service/amenity caveats.

Pros:

Improve information regarding parking because it isn't easy to pull up to unload luggage near the hotel entrance. The parking system operates well once a client has checked-in. It is safe and secure.

Pros:

Disappointing for a new hotel and for the price we paid. Poor facilities, some staff indifferent or poorly trained. Clearly the accountants have taken control, a case of massive cost cutting across the board. For example, breakfast was limited, no minibar or ironing.

Pros:
