Hotel clásico y confortable
Pros:

La ubicación es simplemente fantástica en pleno Market Platz.
Se trata de un hotel clásico, con moqueta, mobiliario de época, pero muy confortable.
La habitación es bastante grande, así como el baño. Cuentas con albornoz, agua de bienvenida.
Dispone de aire acondicionado.

Cons:

El aparcamiento en el patio trasero no es barato, pero es algo habitual en todas partes

Very good hotel.
Pros:

A good hotel in an excellent location.
A good breakfast
Very nice room.
Very helpful and friendly staff

Cons:

As previously the room sometimes cold due to the radiators being behind thick curtains so the heat could not escape in to the room.

Pros:

Perfecte locatie midden in het centrum vanwaar alles op loopafstand bereikbaar is. Prima ontbijt buffet, attent personeel, nette kamer

Pros:

Rooms are OK, but nothing more than that. Beds are comfortable, although not really large. Location is very central to discover the city on foot.

Cons:

When it's 30+ degress outside you really miss in the room, something you would expect in a 4 star hotel. Storage in the room is very limited. Breakfast is Ok but also nothing more than that. Again, I've been staying in 4-star hotels in the same price category where breakfast offered much more choice and better coffee.
A real turn off is that when you walk through the front door you are welcomed by a heavy smell of cigarette smoke.

A city to be avoided during its May festival
Pros:

The location was good and the hotel was comfortable. It is not modern but it has charm.

Cons:

Unfortunately there was a large local festival during our stay so it was far too crowded and there were a lot of stalls selling tat in the near by streets. The festival brought is a number of undesirable individuals as well so we certainly did not see the city at its best. I am sure that it is normally a pleasant place to spend a couple of days.

Heel aangenaam verblijf
Pros:

Wij hadden als 2 vriendinnen een heel prettig verblijf in dit hotel tijdens het Sinksenweekend. De hygiëne was heel goed en het ontbijt voortreffelijk. We komen zeker nog terug!

Cons:

We keken uit het raam op de achterkant van omliggende gebouwen, airco, brandtrap, ... Maar aangezien we ons enkel hebben verfrist en hebben geslapen op de kamer, was dat niet zo erg. We hadden dan ook een basic kamer.

Pros:

Alles was helemaal dik in orde.

Cons:

Jammer van het lawaai vanaf 7u s'ochtends, door het ontbijt op de binnenplaats, waar onze kamer op uit keek.

Chapeau-Hotel Damier is a crafted place where history has been combined with contemporary charm ;-)
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent and delicious and waiters were attentive and very friendly. The apartment was over our expectations, designed with style and signature.

Cons:

Fortunalty nothing ;-) We can say with from the heart that this is the best hotel we have ever stayed and for sure will come back.
