Pleasant hotel on a quiet street with views of the ocean and Arran

Room was modern and bed was comfortable.

Cons:

Deluxe shower alternated rapidly between ice cold and hot water. A drip under the radiator made a portion of the carpet wet underfoot. Two lights in the bathroom were missing, which made the bathroom very dark.

Das Frühstück und Essen im Restaurant waren hervorragend. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir haben den kleinen Pool genutzt, allerdings gibt es hier keine gutem Sitz- bzw Liegemöbel. Der Whirlpool hatte kein Wasser, er wurde als Ablage genutzt und man konnte ihn nicht nutzen.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war im Erdgeschoss ganz hinten bei den Wäschekammern. Entsprechend laut war es ab 7 Uhr. Kein Ausblick, nur Hinterhof. Der Raum wirkte klamm und feucht, es roch mordrig.

On the corridor to our room with the kids you had to pass the kitchen and good hear the chefs constantly swearing which wasnt great with young kids

Great place for tranquility
Pros:

Staff were exceptionally friendly and polite. Rooms were very spacious and bed was extremely comfortable. Hotel was in a quiet area but not too far for walking into town for a variety of pubs and restaurants

Lovely hotel right by the beach. Friendly staff when we arrived. Big spacious room with a good sized bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay.
