good breakfast.
the room was in need of a make over decor dated, but it was comfortable enough.
Great
Nothing top notch
For the price we paid for the room , we expected a breakfast to be included.
Room was perfect ground floor as my wife uses wheelchair bathroom was excellent food was good and breakfast was great
Smoking area was to far from main hotel my wife has limited ability to walk so had to wheel her to location a bit far away for smoking should be area closer to main Hotel reception
Lovely building in stunning location.
Breakfast staff were great.
Poor room. Very dark. No window and only air source was directly on kitchen extractor fan which churned all day from 6am.
No jacuzzi facility in leisure centre. Also swimming lessons curtailed poll use.
Replacement towels on second day were incomplete. Only two towels replaced.’
Paying £364 for two nights in a windowless, dark room. We accept no supplement was paid for a view but we did expect daylight.
Made our thoughts clear to reception staff within two hours of checking in to be transparent about our disappointment. Only suggestion offered was to close upper air source but reopen when kitchen was closed. Around 9.30/10.00.
Upper air source was at least 7ft high. Not prepared to stand on furniture to operate this. Actually, no furniture in room anyway other than the bed.
Lovely
So comfy bed. Spacies room
Good location with good sized rooms and plenty of parking spaces
Rooms were a touch warm
A grand old place in need of a little more love to make it shine. The bathrooms were super spacious
After an epic journey we had to wait ages to check in while a couple were debating their dinner bill. The bedsheets were bobbly, pillows lumpy and a spider was waiting for me in my bed.
All was good with the exception of the smell of mold. The bleach the staff uses still does not eliminate that smell.
The fact a kid above us ran around in his room for the better part of 4-5 hours making a lot of noise and the staff member on shift did nothing to quell the noise. We had a very early morning and this was told to the staff member.
Overall was good .but had room which was meant to be kingsize bed .sofa bed .and zed bed for two adults 3 kids room was king size base with two single mattress sofa bed springs where at head and face height when you lay down and zed bed quilt was still wet .dinner ser ice was poor to say very least but eventually got food was nice .kids made welcome so bounus if youve got them overall 5/10 6/10 ..
Modern style to an older building, very well done. Clean and quiet, staff were lovely.
