After last visit a favourite of mine will no longer be my "go to" place in Furbo.
Pros:

The location was perfect for our needs and the upgrade of the hot tub and sauna facilities were great. The staff were fantastic and very helpful.

Cons:

The food was disappointing. My wife ate on arrival and it was average. Unfortunately the breakfast (which is a favourite of mine when staying in hotels) was average. From memory the bacon was undercooked and our coffee was served in dirty cups. The lock on our bedroom door was faulty and sticking. Maintenance staff did a quick "fix" and left a screwdriver with my wife "in case it happens again" seriously??

Fabulous experience
Pros:

Pros:

Das Hotel liegt unmittelbar an der Küste und unweit davon ist auch ein schöner Badestrand. Frühstück war ausreichend und gut. Unser Zimmer lag leider ganz unten und etwas dunkel eingerichtet, allerdings ruhig und mit bequemen Betten. Das Personal ist durchweg freundlich und das Essen im Restaurant zu empfehlen.

Pros:

Liked that they acknowledged our anniversary with lovely desert and box connemara shortbread. Room was beautiful and had a balcony. Fantastic for summer weather

Cons:

We asked to stay extra 2 nights..had to move room( which we didn't mind as wedding was booked).no discount at all..

Absolutely stunning! Staff was super helpful from check in to check out!
Wish I stayed longer!

Cons:

With the summer weather the option for mixing water in the bathroom/shower wasn't an option. Hot water wasn't ideal.

Heerlijk verblijf met uitzicht op zee in rustige omgeving.
Pros:

Prachtig hotel met erg vriendelijk personeel. Fijne plekken om rustig te lezen. Gezellige bar, deels met huiselijke sfeer. Mooi en rustig gelegen met voldoende parkeergelegenheid.

Cons:

Op sommige plekken was het best warm in het hotel. Het is niet toegerust op warmer weer in de zomerperiode. Een deel van de kamers heeft airconditioning.

Unser großes Zimmer hatte ein sehr sehr kleines Bad und die bodenlangen Fenster im Erdgeschoss konnten nur gekippt werden. Es gab leider keine Liegen auf der Terrasse.

Fine overall but we've stayed in better hotels in Galway
Pros:

- The pool was nice.
- The beds were comfortable.
- The staff in the leisure centre and the breakfast room were nice.

Cons:

- The water in the shower was absolutely scorching hot, even when I tried to turn the temperature down, so I had to go to bed with suncream on the first night. I went down to reception and nobody was there, and nobody picked up when I dialled '0' multiple times.
- The late check-in - 4pm is already a late check-in by Irish standards, but we had to wait until after 5pm to be given the cards to the room, as the room simply was not ready yet. We were given two complimentary drink vouchers for three adults but did get a third one when we pointed this out. We missed our dinner reservation as a result of the delayed check-in, so quite a disappointing and unusual start to our stay.
- The carpets were quite filthy for a 4* hotel.

Pros:

Fabulous hotel, sea views and gardens are beautiful with nice accessible walks, lovely atmosphere. Lovely welcome on arrival, food is good and staff very accommodating.

Cons:

No air conditioning in rooms or breakfast area, shower too hot in bedroom is set at 38° and could not be lowered.

Pros:

What went well:
The service at this hotel is exceptional. We had an issue where Booking.com booked our room for the wrong night while we were still 300 km away. When we arrived, we were registered as a "no-show." Normally, you lose your money and your reservation in this situation. However, the hotel staff was incredibly friendly and flexible. They managed to get us a room anyway and used our pre-paid money for it. They truly saved our trip!

Cons:

The hotel itself was great, but they mentioned that this booking date issue happens quite often with Booking.com. It would be helpful if the hotel could flag this bug to Booking.com. For future guests: always double-check your dates before confirming your reservation!
